Daikokuya Pawnshop Shinjuku East Exit — Local services in Tokyo

After having been to all the second hand shops trending on TikTok (2nd Street, Kendal, brand Off, Brand Collect, Ragtag) I had no luck finding a good quality designer handbag as the quality was either not up to scratch or the price was too high.

I actually walked past this shop by chance not knowing anything about it and I found their selection was much better priced and the condition of the bags were ranked more accurately (A, AB, B etc.).

I walked in and instantly found the bag I was looking for. The staff were very professional and the handbag also came with original dust bag and authenticity card.

They even put my purchase safely in a rain coat to protect the bag because it was raining outside!

I was very happy to have stumbled across...

I came here by chance on a weekday but ended up buying a Hermes Herbag from this store. Shinjuku has so many pawn-shops/pre-loved luxury stores but I found that the lady who was on duty that day was the most friendly, helpful, and informative. She was friendly to my 2 young kids too!

She promptly showed me the bag I wanted and informed me about the tax-free information I may need to show customs at the airport (for foreigners). Also wrapped the bag well.

I went to so many pre-loved good stores in the past week but the service here was by far the best. It’s a small store with not that many handbags selection but the warmth I received made me decide to buy from...

大黒屋さんには、これまで長い間ずっと信頼を寄せて利用してきました。東京でも北海道でも、対応が丁寧で安心して預けられるお店だと思っていたので、今回の経験は本当に悲しく、残念でなりません。

今年購入し、Fakebustersで正式に真贋鑑定済みのGoyardのバッグを持ち込んだところ、「基準外」との理由で断られました。まさかそんな結果になるとは思ってもおらず、とてもショックを受けました。その後、おたからややなんぼやで再度確認してもらったところ、いずれも「正規品」との判断を受け、ますます困惑しました。

さらに、以前コメ兵さんで正式な査定を受けていたLouis VuittonのOn The Goのバッグも、「シリアルタグで判断ができないので基準外」と言われ、不安と失望が重なっていきました。

そして今日、再び別のLouis Vuittonのバムバッグを持ち込んだところ、今度は「レシートや証明書がないと判断できない」と言われました。以前のバッグが基準外だったため慎重になっているとのことでしたが、長年利用してきた私としては、とても寂しい気持ちになりました。

本来、鑑定士の方々には、バッグそのものを見て真贋を判断していただけるものと思っていました。もちろんお店の基準があるのは理解していますが、ここまで慎重すぎる対応をされると、もう以前のように安心して利用することができません。

信頼していたお店だからこそ、この変化が本当に悲しいです。...
