The best strawberry 🍓 daifuku! The strawberry is sweet, well balanced amount of red bean with thin mochi! The combination is perfect. This flavour sold out fast and long queue when available in the store. I bought a box of 4 at once and no regrets. The Sakura 🌸 flavour is also very special, a combination of salty and sweetness. Very delicate texture in the mouth. Also bought a set of 4 in my second visit. The matcha flavour is good. The original with the whole beans was too robust to me and I did not repeat this flavour. Bought a flavour with Japanese apricot, looking forward to try it tomorrow. They keep very well in the fridge. Visited two times in 3 days and flavours changed. This is very good strategy to keep customers always coming in looking forward to repeat or to try a flavour! Never boring. Very friendly service and very organised to reduce queue times. I love daifuku and this store is by far my favourite! Totally...

The mochi consistency was really nowhere near as soft and silky as I've come to expect; the thickness of the mochi meant that each bite turned into a mouthful of gumminess; and the paste was relatively flavorless. The only redeeming quality was the juicy strawberry at the center. Everyone was super sweet at the store, but I sadly won't be returning when there are so many other amazing daifuku...
Read moreWhile walking around Ginza in Tokyo, I stumbled upon a mochi shop with a long queue, so I decided to check it out. They were selling a special Shine Muscat grape mochi with green grapes inside, and I had to give it a try.
The mochi was incredibly chewy, and the Shine Muscat grape inside was so juicy and fresh—it was honestly one of the best mochi I’ve ever had. The combination of the chewy texture and the sweetness of the grape was perfect. The staff was also really friendly and helped us choose this gem, so I’m glad we tried it!
If you’re in Ginza and spot this place, don’t hesitate to line up for some truly...
