Despite its prime location in the elegant district of Ginza, Noa Cafe unfortunately falls short in nearly every regard. Upon entering, the atmosphere feels unusually enclosed and stagnant, with poor ventilation that makes the space feel more suffocating than serene.

The food, while presented with a sense of casual charm, is remarkably uninspired—bland, basic, and far from what one might expect in an area known for culinary excellence. It lacks both creativity and flavour, making it unworthy of the price point or the location’s prestige.

What truly defined the visit, however, was the coffee. In a city famed for its artisanal cafés and world-class brews, the coffee here ranks among the worst I’ve ever encountered—watery, bitter, and altogether undrinkable.

Hands down one of rudeness encounters I’ve experienced. We walked in, were not greeted, and were told to wait even though the cafe clearly had several open tables. The cafe seemed to be understaff as one individual was serving food, seating guests, and checking out finished customers.

Eventually another server showed up. However, after waiting 20 minutes we were finally seated. What made me leave was that we sat at a table that didn’t have a QR code for ordering so naturally we took the one at an empty table. I understand that a cafe may have specific order in how things are set up however what is unacceptable is how the server came over and rudely snatched up the qr code and didn’t bit really say anything. I visited this cafe around 8.30am on Sunday morning. They weren't a lot of people during the time, so I don't have to wait or queue to get a table, in fact I'm allowed to choose any of the table I want. I'm grateful that this cafe exist because it's quite hard to find cafe or restaurant in Japan that open this early except for those coffee shops chain. You scan the menu from the QR code on the table and your order will be served by the waitress once ready. The food was incredible, I ordered strawberry waffle with whipped cream along with iced matcha latte, the waffle is really amazing. Next time I go to Tokyo I plan on revisiting this cafe again.
