SHIBIRE-NOODLES Rousokuya Omotesando Hills-ten — Restaurant in Tokyo

I decided to go for something not tourist popular restaurants as I’m trying to avoid queuing for 30 mins. Lucky I found this place at Omotesando.

I didn’t expect that it’s going to be this good. I ordered Mapo Tofu noodle within coriander and add extra onion. Spicy level 2 (super numb already) It turns out to be so delicious.

Mapo tofu noodle come with mince pork is quite big portion. I will be able to share with my girlfriend but as I came alone I can’t finished it. But it’s ok !

I think it’s really suitable for who like to go for Mala hotpot but don’t have friend to go with that day so this is a very good option. I love it and I will surely bring my husband to try this noodle when we are in Tokyo again.

Not very friendly towards us as foreigners. Was in a rush to take away my food even though I wasn't finished.

My Japanese neighbors have been there before me and have finished their meal for a while, chatting carefree.

Then as we left they questioned my mom who ate with me if we paid.

I've never been treated as such in any country I've traveled to let alone in Japan where people are usually very courteous.

Mapo tofu and noodles are some of my favorite things. Wouldn’t have thought to add baked cheese to this! Ordered the baked cheese mapo-men extra spicy. It had a great flavor, and awesome numbing, but wasn’t spicy enough. Mixing everything together the cheese adds a nice creamy texture to it.
