Shimura Shoten — Local services in Tokyo

Shimura Shoten is hidden in the Ameyoko shopping arcade. This chocolate and candy store is famous for its incredible deals (10 boxes for 1000 yen) and festive atmosphere. 👍 During my visit on October 4, 2024, I appreciated the unique ceremony of the vendors. Perched on a platform, they add items one by one into a large bag while counting out loud in Japanese, creating a jovial atmosphere. 😁 For only 1000 yen, I was able to get 13 boxes of quality chocolates, all with expiration dates extending to the end of December 2024 and January 2025.
