This is our second time visiting Sozo Hair and Make in Ginza while in Tokyo (we are visiting from the USA), and we could not be more pleased. The owner and head stylist, Keizo, is truly an outstanding master stylist—his attention to detail, especially with layering, is exceptional. Each haircut is tailored to the specific hair type, and the results always settle beautifully.

Communication in English is excellent throughout the salon, making it very easy to describe exactly what we want. On this occasion, we brought our daughter, whose hair was extremely tangled, and Keizo worked wonders, effortlessly detangling and styling her hair. Impressively, he was able to accommodate our daughter’s appointment on short notice, even though we had not scheduled it in advance.

The cost is very reasonable considering the high level of service and skill provided. We now consider Sozo our “hairdresser away from home” and plan to return every time we visit Tokyo.
