This is by far the best pizza I have tasted, even better than back home in Canada. We came around 5:15 pm without a reservation, we were hot, tired and starving. The gentleman (manager?) was so kind to accommodate us right away for a table upstairs. We ordered capri salad, organic vegetables salad, pasta with tomato and clams, Marguerita pizza and prosciutto pizza, tiramisu and gelato. The tiramisu was so good that I had to order a second one and my daughters even fighted for the remaining pasta🤣. Anyhow, everything was so delicious! Who knew Italian food would taste so good here in Japan lol ; ) the price is very reasonable as well. Both the pizza and the pasta was outstanding and the quality was unmatched from any other restaurants we had visited in the past. The staff were very nice and tried their best with their limited English, making our experience so much more enjoyable compared to some of the horrible service we have had in Japan. (Sadly, not everyone is hospitable here). Come by if you are in Ginza! This is a breath of fresh air from all the tourists and...
Read moreWe came here for a quick lunch and ended up wasting over an hour of our day. The group in front of us started as 3 people, suddenly grew to 7 with no reservation, and the manager still seated them before any of the smaller parties waiting in line — including us. Completely unfair, and honestly just disrespectful to everyone standing and waiting patiently. There were multiple groups of 2 ahead of them, and the staff simply ignored that. It felt like they were picking favorites or just completely disorganized. But the worst part? Once we were finally seated, we were told that each person had to order a three-course meal or leave. No mention of this anywhere while we waited in line for over an hour. We just wanted a pizza before our dinner reservations — nothing fancy. But instead of serving us, they gave us an ultimatum: order three full courses each or get out. So they kicked us out rather than serve us one pizza. Unprofessional. Unwelcoming. Completely inflexible. There are plenty of pizza places that actually want customers. This one clearly doesn’t. Avoid...
Read moreThe person managing the entry did not let people enter even with the 3 tables for 2 being empty right in front of everyone. There were about 20 people waiting in the queue with me in front of the line and everyone decided to leave. All because of this one guy managing the queue. He did not let anyone sit even on the empty tables. I had to come inside and ask him to give me a table immediately since I was in front of the line and got one. 18 people in the queue left leaving the waiting completely empty.
I even saw people waiting in the line for so long that they decided to do a takeaway and some were even eating outside. It was visible racism and the person was not letting anyone outside from Japan go inside. There were Japanese people constantly walking in to the top floor without waiting in the queue.
This has been the worst hospitality experience I’ve had in any restaurant in any country I’ve been to. It it extremely saddening. One employee messed up the restaurant’s reputation for multiple people in...
