Initially, I was really looking forward to my nail appointment because I came to this salon before for my bridal nail on my wedding day. The main reason I choose this salon is because they offer water manicure and pedicure which is often difficult to find in Tokyo. However, I was quite disappointed when the staff told me my service is done. There was no water involved. I told them I booked for water manicure specifically and I came here especially for that. First of all, they made a mistake and did not apologize. Then, they try to tell me that I don’t need water manicure as they already did dry manicure. When I insisted that I want water manicure that’s why I came here. They gave me 2 bowls of water to soak my fingers and cut more cuticles. That’s it. There was no treatment or massage. So I did not receive the full water care that I was supposed to. What is more disappointing is that they charged me full price of ¥11,550 even though they made mistake and did not give me the full treatment. I honestly wanted to go to this salon regularly, but I did not get a good experience this time. My service was only one color gel and dry care, then they cut my cuticles at the end. Fabulous place! I went to this nail salon because it was close to my hotel in Ginza while I was in Tokyo. I've been having my nails done for 30 years and this is by far the best gel nails manicure. My nails look natural and are just so well done. I sat in a recliner while my nails were done on each side by two very nice manicurists and my feet were soaking for a pedicure. This was hands down the best manicure I have ever had. My sister and I had some time to kill between activities while visiting Tokyo and decided to get our nails done. We did not have a reservation, but the wonderful ladies at Tricia fit us in. The manicure with nail art took about 2.5 hours, but the quality and attention to detail is truly unmatched.
