Rose Bakery Ginza — Restaurant in Tokyo

I generally go there because the place might not be known to a lot of people yet so sometimes they are easy to get in. But apart from that, I really love their afternoon tea menu which called "Cafe Creme". Basically you can choose any drink (as long as it's not alcohol) and you get 2 scones and 1 cake and only cost you around 17 dollars. For the cakes, my first choice would be carrot cake. Not too sweet and not so heavy. I also love their lemon tart. The best part is, for the lemon tart you can really taste the sourness and hinge of sweet instead of the other way round (like most lemon tart) which I think how lemon tart...

The atmosphere feels like you are in a canteen with more distant space between tables. You can spend time reading/ working as there are plenty of space.

I was there Monday afternoon, no queue, only few people and the carrot cake was still available.

I came here for the signature carrot cake. The carrot cake is delicious when eating together with cream-cheese frosting. The proportion of cream cheese is about the right amount. The cake texture was not moist but not dry either. The spices wasn’t strong.

I was in the area shopping and stumbled upon Rose Bakery; nice layout and very clean. Staff greeted me right away and were very friendly. Ordered the eggs benedict, but because I don’t eat bacon, the waitress offered to substitute it for salmon at no extra cost (which was DELICIOUS). Ordered the carrot cake but she came back a few minutes later and advised me that they are actually all sold out, but if I was willing to wait 15 mins, they can bake a fresh batch (this was at roughly 6pm).
