Set Lunch - Pork Set 猪肉套餐 = RM19.90++ (Available Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 5.00pm)
Service Charge 10% = RM1.99 Service Tax 6% = RM1.19
I only really discovered this Eatery when doing a Deep-Dive Exploration of this Mall. Its located in a Rather Secluded Corner away from the Main Shopping Traffic.
This is a Restaurant specializing in Thai Mookata which is a sort of Thai-Styled BBQ that I'm sure many Singaporeans are very Familiar with.
I must say I really like their Adorable Bui Bui Green Dragon Mascot which immediately gave a Very Family Friendly Feel.
The 1st thing that you will experience is of course a Nice Delicious Aroma of BBQ Meats typical of a Mookata Place. Interior Design is Not Overly Flashy, more Simple and Functional with a Very Family Friendly Feel. This place totally gave me a Very Family and Friends Gathering type of Place.
The Background Music they play here is some of the Most Varied and Eclectic Choice I've ever heard for an Eatery! Everything ranging from American Hip-Hop Rap, to Vintage Classics like John Denver's Country Road, to even Chinese Pop Songs like 蔡依林 Jolin Tsai's 看我七十二变.
The Staffs are mostly Young Chaps and they were Friendly and Polite. All of them have this Smile and Spring in their Step, sometimes Bopping their Heads intune with the Music they played at this Place. Sometimes joking with each other, and not in a Goofing Off Bad Way as they still do their Main Duty well towards Customers. These Lads look like they actually enjoy their Job here.
Set Lunch - Pork Set 猪肉套餐 = RM19.90++
This Set Consists of: 🥤 1 Cup of Drink 🐷 10 Coin-Shaped Slices of Pork Bacon 🐔 Few Pieces of Marinated Chicken Thighs 🍚 1 Bowl of Garlic Rice 🍜 Some Udon Noodles 🥬 1 Bowl of Raw Shredded Cabbages (Non-Refillable) 🍥 Processed Crabstick, Fishcakes, Baby Meatballs 🍄 Mushrooms, Lettuces, Some Veggies
This Set Lunch I had is only available on Weekdays 10.30am to 5.00pm. They have a Few Different Sets as you can see from the Menu. I chose the Pork Set because of course Pork is the Default Meat for a Thai Mookata. The "Moo" in Mookata actually means Pork.
Due to Text Limit Constraints, I won't go into details describing every Ingredient here. If you are interested to know more, come visit my Facebook Food Blog: "A Solo Singaporean's Guide to JB Foods (And More!)" to view the Full Review with Photos.
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At a Total Combined Price of RM23.08 (S$7.00) including Taxes, I thought this was an Affordable Price to enjoy a Well Rounded Thai Mookata Single Person Set Meal that includes a Drink in the Price.
I liked how Aesthetically Beautiful the Set was presented and while the Amount of Meats aren't really alot, it was still a Filling Meal because of the 2 Types of Carbs from the Udon and Garlic Rice and of course the Various Other Ingredients. Their Garlic Rice especially impressed me because of the Amount of Effort they put in.
Quality is not Super High Class Atas Standard, but Overall Taste was Very Decent and Acceptable for me. It was a Really Satisfying Meal. 一口肉, 一口菜, 一口饭, 一口面, 吃的几爽一下.
What really impressed me more is the Friendly Happy Attitude of the Staffs in this Place. Seeing them so happy going about their Job, even made me more Happier eating here as a Customer.
Whoever managing this Eatery is doing a Right Job in making their Staffs happy which in turn is an Excellent 1st Customer Impression. 所为员工开心, 自然的也会让客人们开心. These Happy Staffs really added alot to the Uplifting Vibe of this Place.
If you are looking for a Family Friendly Thai Mookata with a Family Friendly Happy Vibe, I can definitely recommend this place to try their Set Lunch which I felt is Value for Money.

Read moreThis BBQ (or mookata style) restaurant offers sets and buffet style bbq. For the buffet, there are a few tiers that you can choose from each tier differing in the variety and quality of the items. We took the Super refill buffet with also comes with free flow ice cream, which you can choose from the refrigerator.
The meats are fresh and there is a variety of seasoned meats that you can choose from. Then if you are not a red meat person, there is actually some seafood that you can choose. The shrimps were small in size but they are fresh. There is also fish which are cut into ‘chunks’ and they are very fresh too, no fishy smell at all and then there is also clams and sliced squids.
On top of that, there is otah, spam ( we ordered twice but it was never served so we assume that it was out), fish tofu, taukee etc there is a time limit to dining but it was more than enough.
Service wise can be improved on, though the servers are generally helpful, but the drinks took way too long to be served. We had bbqed and eaten quite a few plates but the drinks wasn’t served and we were quite thirsty. Thereafter the first cup, when we tried to have it refilled, again it took more than 15mins, so perhaps they need to improve on that as it can get quite dry and hot with all that bbq and there isn’t much ‘soup’ to speak off here.
Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable lunch and would come back if in...

Came here for a late dinner with family, food was average but okay for the price. At 9.15pm we were informed of a last call, , to which I ordered various items, including 1 Coke. However we noticed it was taking slightly longer to arrive as the crew was carrying out closing duties - and that’s when it happened: one of the staff who was clearing a table took a drink that another patron had drank, and passed it to us. Naturally, we were stunned that he thought it would be acceptable to give us something another patron had consumed, and asked for an explanation. He then retorted that “nobody drank it” and was absolutely unapologetic about the situation. Eventually the matter was left unsettled as the manager of the outlet had left for the day and he was not held accountable for his gross negligence.
People who wish to visit this outlet should be aware of the risks associated with their hygiene standard or the lack thereof. The complete disregard for patron health and safety is extremely concerning which does not require extensive F&B experience to qualify.
This outlet should be handled with greater scrutiny by the Malaysian Health and Safety Authorities (if any) albeit it not being a country known for its efficiency or policing of local laws with impartiality.
