i am very very delighted with sushi house service. i went there a few times before but had stop goin a while as i didn go city square.

ytd 18 oct 2023 wed 1.30pm at table 14 , was here at sushi house city square as i had to come here to eat as i cant eat at kipmall tampoi.

i was in a hurry but it doesnt take long to have my oyako don served hot on my table. they also quickly served my hot flask of green tea the moment i sat down. i was perched.

was amazed by the big portion as im a big eater and the kipmall breakfast left me hungry within half hr so i was surprised i can only ate half of it and i felt so full, i was actually famished.

guess what they could help me takeaway the remaining portion packed nicely and swifly to me. in addition, i asked them if i could bring over the big pot of green tea to reds salon as i din wan to waste my money, i wasnt allowed but they help me to pour it in a glass and this chinese guy who was there at the cashier trusted me to return the cup and so i was so grateful i ordered a takeaway to relay his fears of not returning the cup. LOL, this is beyond service.

the oyako don is rm16.80 and green tea RM3.50 only.

highly recommend this place for students, family and anyone who wans extraordinary service.

kudos to the chinese guy as well as a lady who served...

Great service and interesting concept. Chanced upon a 3-day grand opening promotion (RM2/plate!) and decided to give it a try. Orders can be placed via a website/their app. Free wifi available at the restaurant. No longer have to wait forever for waiters to notice you but the option to call for waiters is also available on the website. There are also games to kill time on the website (waiting time became pretty competitive with the car game....).

Service staff was very nice and courteous. Always smiling and pleasant and responsive to calls. Staff were generally patient and willing to explain their concept/instructions to place orders. They were also nice and checked on us a couple of times during our meal.

Most importantly, presentation of food was impressive. Ordered 25 plates of sushi and didn't expect this presentation style. Especially since it was on a promotion as well. Definitely impressed by this service and would come back again.

(Waiting time of food can be improved though. Did feel the wait even while I was busy being engaged with their games on the...

We dined at a Muslim-friendly sushi eatery that doesn’t serve pork or alcohol in their sushi rice or beverages.

The food was nice and I loved the hot wakame chasoba! The broth was so flavorful that I finished the entire bowl (which I rarely do with non-spicy broths). The assorted salmon sushi / nigiri was great too, I enjoy the nice variety of toppings to try. The tori teriyaki don was tasty and came with a side of miso soup and a slightly runny egg. However, one of the takoyaki pieces was undercooked, and the salmon sashimi slices were a bit too “skinny” and didn’t come with wasabi on the side.

If I were to compare Sushi Zanmai and Sushi House (since they’re located nearby), I would still prefer Zanmai for the overall experience and taste. However if I’m craving wakame noodles or a platter with a variety of salmon sushi / nigiri, Sushi House will definitely be...

A friend wanna try out this Sushi House@City Square, JB. I was horrified that this Japanese restaurant can openly served 'leftover' ingredients that had already turned BAD! 1) Grated daikon already turned sour 2) Shredded lettuce (salad) & sliced oranges already oxidised ~turned brown! This discoloration is usually a result of polyphenols reacting with polyphenoloxidase enzymes, which leads to a brown pigment, if it's not handled improperly. I'm in disbelief this is the standard of a local Japanese Restaurant, freshness is the least in their dictionary!! As I had irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), I had mild tummy ache shortly after lunch. Fortunately, not a serious diarrhoea since most ingredients were NOT fresh!! Beware if you patronise this Sushi House at your own risk, should the owner continue serving LOW standard food quality!!!
