I visited to claim the samples by registering my details through Facebook campaign flyers. That was my first time to get to know Loccitane product. After claiming the samples, I noticed that they are selling hair serums. I was interested and I requested the scalp scanning by hoping that the staff could recommended me to buy the products.
The male staff on duty at 9 of August 4pm seems arrogant and patronising me and my wife. Maybe he just think that we are the one to get the freebies only and has no money to buy. He refused to give me a scalp scanning because I had claimed the samples. Scanning scalp does not cost anything, he was either lazy or thinking that we were not potential clients rejected our request immediately. The tone he used to speak was impatient and hoping us to leave the store. Store manager should aware and give this staff more training. I think he was a trainee in the store???
If Loccitane does not like ppl to get samples, why run the campaigns??? This is funny.
Today, 10th of August 2025, I attended another branch at the Garden Mall. I told the staff I collected the skin care samples at Pavilion KL branch and I asked the staff that I would like to do the free scalp scan so that I can know my scalp condition. She immediately welcomed me to do the scalp test and explained to me that the attitude of the male staff at Pavilion branch was totally wrong.
We ended up buying 2 full size shampoo and hair serum from The Garden Mall instead of Pavilion KL due to poor attitude of the mall staff....
Read moreThere used to be a competent and lovely SA here but looks like its gone downhill since. Went to drop some items for recycling and a large chinese lady SA with a dissatisfied face has the audacity to tell me to "stand outside near entrance not inside here" after i told her I wanted to drop some things off??!! LIKE WHAT? I also saw another couple there already in the process of dropping some things for recycling and the look on their faces said it all. All the chairs were empty yet they were made to literally stand outside the store. The SA serving them had a similar dismissive attitude and the poor couple looked disgusted by the service. Moving on to the process itself, L'occitane ought to train their staffs to identify what items qualify for recycling and what do not because customers have enough brain cells to look their website up and see the criteria. Face masks/30ml pots were all "not accepted for the programme" according to this SA. Dint even bother arguing. Felt sorry for how pathetic they are. Probably trying to steal the free items for themselves. Anyhow dropped 30 over bottles and was told only 9 qualified. I just walked out. Save yourself the pathetic service and head to LUSH just few doors away. Their service is immaculate...
