An unforgettable dining experience at Chef Eyad - Star Boulevard KLCC!
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were impressed by the sleek interior and the open kitchen concept. Watching the chefs in action, especially the live fire torching of meat right in front of us, was both thrilling and captivating—it gave the whole experience a touch of theatrical flair.
We started with a variety of Middle Eastern appetizers that completely blew us away. The hummus was incredibly smooth and creamy, topped with the perfect swirl of olive oil. The mutabal had a beautiful smoky depth and was topped with fresh pomegranate seeds that added a refreshing pop of sweetness. The tahini sauce was rich and perfectly balanced. One of our favorites was the fattoush salad—crisp lettuce, crunchy pita chips, and juicy pomegranate seeds, all dressed in a tangy, slightly sweet dressing. Every bite was fresh and flavorful.
Then came the star of the evening—the beef ribs. Served sizzling on a hotplate, the portion was generous and absolutely mouthwatering. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and infused with bold, aromatic spices. The spicy dry rub had a lovely kick without being overwhelming, and the grilled bell peppers on the side were the perfect complement. It was truly one of the best rib dishes we’ve ever tasted.
What really sets Chef Eyad apart is the passion and attention to detail in everything they do. You can tell the food is made with love and great care. Every dish was plated beautifully, and the flavors were authentic and well-balanced.
The staff were warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome from the start and explained each dish to us patiently. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service remained prompt and attentive. We also appreciated the cozy yet modern ambiance—perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The open-fire kitchen is definitely a highlight. Watching the chef torch the meat right in front of us was a unique experience that made our meal even more memorable. It’s not just about eating here—it’s a show and a celebration of flavors.
In short, Chef Eyad is a hidden gem in the heart of KLCC that delivers both taste and experience. Whether you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or just someone looking for amazing food and a good time, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreWe had lunch at Chef Eyad at Star Boulevard KLCC on a Thursday, 12 June 2025 and honestly, it was a great experience from start to finish. The location is super convenient—just a short walk from Suria KLCC and Avenue K, right on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.
The place has a cool open fire kitchen concept, so you can actually see the team at work slow-cooking those massive cuts of meat for hours. The vibe inside is impressive—lots of space, big windows for natural light, really comfortable chairs, and a touch of Mediterranean flair in the décor. It wasn’t crowded at all when we went, so it was easy to relax and enjoy our meal.
The focus here is all about Mediterranean-style smoked meats. Chef Eyad’s signature lamb ribs are slow-cooked up to 16 hours with his special blend of spices and honey, and it shows in every bite. We ordered the smoked lamb ribs platter, and it was easily the star of the table—beautifully presented on a wooden board with roasted peppers, onions, mushrooms, and what looked like a little potato croquette on the side. The meat was incredibly tender, rich in flavor, and had just the right balance of spices.
Another big plus: every smoked meat order comes with a bunch of complimentary sides. We had fragrant saffron rice and fresh Arabic flatbread (perfect for soaking up those juices), plus two types of salad—fattoush (crispy pita, pomegranate, mixed veggies, and a zesty dressing) and the oriental salad (fresh cucumber, tomato, parsley, and lemon). These sides were light and refreshing, balancing out the richness of the lamb perfectly.
The staff were friendly and quick to help, offering bread refills and checking in without being intrusive. The overall atmosphere is perfect whether you’re catching up with friends, having a business lunch, or celebrating something special.
The only thing to keep in mind is the price—it’s on the higher end, especially for the smoked meat platters (expect to pay RM 200+ for 300g, or close to RM 500 for a full kilo). But honestly, the quality and the experience make it worthwhile, especially for a treat or a special occasion.
Final thought: If you’re a fan of slow-cooked meats and want a spot that delivers on both flavor and hospitality, Chef Eyad is definitely worth a visit. Bring a few friends or family, order the ribs, and...

The seating arrangement included a clean window area, a partitioned section closer to the toilets, and an upstairs area that I didn’t explore. The tables were comfortably set for two and four people, with the accommodating staff ready to rearrange for larger groups. The chairs featured a firm wooden curve that provided excellent back support, making it easy to relax while enjoying the meal. The staff were elegantly dressed, reflecting the restaurant's branding, and their polite demeanor complemented their quick service. I ordered a beef brisket burger, a smoky wrap, and a refreshing peach lemonade, totaling 104.50 ringgit. The burger came with a sauce that was simply perfect; I found myself using it on the wrap as well, enhancing its flavor. While I didn’t inquire about vegetarian options, I recommend checking with the staff if you prefer plant-based dishes. Overall, Chef Eyad Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with excellent food and attentive service—an ideal way to ring in...
