The room are badly maintained. The aircon vents are all dusty. The room have this pungy/musty odor like the room haven't been well ventilated or didn't clean up well enough. With no choice but to sleep in this kind of condition throughout the 2 nights.
Night shift staff from the reception isn't well service oriented. This morning (6am) when we're checking out to leave the hotel. My wife had to go to the washroom urgently. She asked the staff where is it and how to go. He didn't show or guide directions. He said, go straight last and turn left. My wife wasn't really clear of his directions and she realised the door he was referring to, is locked. She was thinking is the exit door and turned left. (Now, i don't want any negative comments or thinking about her. MIND YOU..) He then came out and unlocked the door with the key. After he had opened for her, he said, " Bodoh betul". Which we know what it means. "Really stupid". And also on the 1st night we checked in when we arrived, i asked him, whether do they have extra plastic stool or chair.( Do note that my wife's legs are on bandage and can't afford to get them wet. So she has to sit and take shower.) He said, don't have extra. And then he mumbled some words or sentences to himself, remarking about the request i made. We're coming from a country which we understand the language. All these remarks really can be avoided. We'd worked in service line for many years and we know how to serve customers/guest. And this shouldn't be this way.
We know this a 2 star hotel and by last minute, this had to be booked. But come on, whether is 2 star hotel or not, the staffs should be well trained on manners, courteous and be polite and all other service etiquettes towards all hotel guests whether you like them or not. We're just there for a few days and you're gonna see us for a few seconds or minutes. Not staying there to annoy you or whatever. Of course not expecting the kind of service of a 5 star hotel for a 2 star. The most basics should be there. You're representing the hotel name and the country. The 1st impressions comes.
And please, do something about the rooms and the...
Read moreI stayed at M&M Hotel Brickfields for 3 days and 2 nights and had a very disappointing experience overall.
I arrived early at 9:00 AM and paid RM50 for early check-in — which I didn’t mind. However, I was given Room 308, and from the start, it was a letdown. The room lacked basic amenities: no towels, no toiletries, and the in-room safe was broken. I had to call reception just to get essentials, and the staff was extremely slow to respond.
The cleanliness was also poor — the bathroom was dirty upon arrival, and the bed had hair on it, indicating it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The environment was noisy and not relaxing at all.
To be honest, I booked this hotel after seeing many positive reviews and TikTok content. But in reality, it didn’t live up to any of that hype. Content creators should be more responsible — this hotel is not ideal for a comfortable stay, especially for those expecting quality service.
There are many better, cleaner, and friendlier hotels in Kuala Lumpur at similar prices. I would not...
Read moreThe room was wasn't as i expect it, first of all the walls wasn't that clean and in my opinion could be easy painting i guess is not cost a lot that, one of the pillow had a gap and the sheet wasn't clean, in the bathroom after shower the water stays to the surface there and in the sink the water need time to go, the desk was look like someone play with fire and was look burn, the good thing about the place is the location which is close to the station and the mall, and another good thing was someone came and ask if need anymore water or shampoo or shower gel, and also you can press the button on the wall to clean your room which i pressed accidentally when i was trying to turn on the light. I give 1 star because of what i said and also because on booking where i book the accomodation i couldn't leave any feedback about this place in fact people need to know how is it the place, maybe for 1-2 nights is okay but not more than that, i will...
