Worst Stay Ever at My Hotel @KL Sentral – Regret Booking Here Instead of My Hotel @Sentral
I stayed at My Hotel @KL Sentral for 3 nights, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in Malaysia. If you care about cleanliness, hygiene, and basic comfort, avoid this place at all costs.
The room was filthy, and the bathroom was disgustingly dirty with stains and a foul smell. No towels were provided, and when we asked for one, the staff simply said “not available.” No dental hygiene kit, no soap, nothing! Not even the bare minimum for a budget hotel. The Air conditioner barely worked, making the room hot and suffocating, especially at night. Room service was non-existent. They don’t even bother cleaning or refilling anything during your stay. The staff was rude and unresponsive, and acted like they were doing you a favor just by speaking to you.
I had previously stayed at My Hotel @Sentral, just a few minutes away, and it was a completely different experience – clean, comfortable, and well-managed. I deeply regret not rebooking there.
This place needs a complete overhaul of staff, maintenance, and hygiene practices. It should not even be listed on hotel booking platforms. Avoid My Hotel @KL Sentral if you value your health, peace of mind, or basic decency.

Read moreActually the staff are nice, but the facilities and room cleanliness are so bad. We asked for housekeeping but they didn't clean the room by the time we went back and normally the hotel will provide water bottles for each day, we stayed for two nights and didn't get any water. We also asked for it but they didn't give us.
The room itself is quite bad, smaller than the one shown in the photo. We stayed in the family room that has two queen beds. The beds are not clean, as me and the others get itchy and I got bitten by a bug. There are stains on the blanket, which I believe wasn't changed to a new one when we get in. I could still feel small particles under the blanket. The room service overall is not good compared to another My Hotel I've stayed in.
The staff is kind enough to let us put our luggage in the luggage room, but there's the extent of their service. I know you're busy but you won't get any good reviews or recommendations from this kind of service.

Read moreI had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel. I was offered a room that was recently renovated and the paint smell was so strong that I could hardly breath. The air conditioning wasn’t cool at all making the entire room very stuffy. As a result I was offered an upgraded bigger room but guess what, the air conditioning wasn’t cool and been set at 16 Celsius on turbo with the remote broken making me shivering the whole night. On the next day during hotel checkout, I was handed RM50 cash deposit refund which I thought they had charged my card during my check in the night before as a deposit . While catching my train without having second thought, I accepted the cash and rushed to KL Sentral station and suddenly got a call from the hotel saying I need to hand over the cash immediately. While negotiating it, one of the staffs chased all the way from the hotel from me and asked for the money with very rude attitude.
