I recently visited this Korean restaurant and had a mixed experience. There are definitely some things I liked — the service was impressively fast; I got my food just 10 minutes after ordering. The interior is clean and well-maintained, with cutleries and tissues thoughtfully placed on each table. I ordered the Tuesday lunch offer, the katsu chicken rice, which was crispy on the outside and juicy inside — really well done. And RM23 is decent for the big portion of lunch meal.

However, the ordering process was confusing. There’s a sign at the front counter that says "Order & Pay Here," so I lined up and waited, only to be told that I needed to sit down and scan a QR code to order from my phone. It would be helpful if this was clarified better to avoid unnecessary waiting.

As for the food, while the katsu chicken itself was great, I was a bit let down by the rice and curry. The rice is not Japanese rice, and the curry tasted more like local Malaysian curry with a thicker texture — not quite the Japanese-style curry I expected.

Overall, it’s a decent spot with good service and cleanliness, but there’s room for improvement, especially in communication and authenticity of some...

This was our third time here. The first time we went, we waited for an hour before all our food arrived. The second time we went we were served promptly. On our most recent visit, we once again waited for no less than an hour but we had two of the same orders and one came within 10 minutes of us ordering. I'm honestly not sure where the error in the service came from; one of the waiters gave us a tteokbokki on the house as an apology but honestly after an hour we just really wanted our meals. Not only did they not serve us immediately after the error, they served other customer that came after us first. Also, we noticed that some people on our tables got an extra side, while others didn't. Again, not sure why there's an inconsistency there. I wouldn't mind going back for the food, but definitely not in the near future and especially not during peak lunch hour. Kindly please consider methods to increase the efficiency of your service.

Honestly, the food is alright, it's nothing really special, just your average Japanese/...

Finally! A place where I can say, their jjajangmyeon is delicious! I searched high and low before this, but none did managed to make me crave for it.

The jjajangmyeon itself is I would say, just nice. It has that perfect blend of sweetness, savoury and also sourness (thanks to the kimchi provided). The portions are also quite big, so at least for guys, you know you'll be satiated after finishing the meal.

The place itself is not too small, and not too big. We went there around lunch hour on weekdays, which is crazy packed with office people. So maybe don't go there around that time if you want a more smoother and less busy experience.

The acoustics is not good, considering how narrow the space between each tables are. So don't expect to talk too much here. More of a "quick bite to eat" kinda places, and not the hangout type of places.

In conclusion, we'd probably come again but at a less busier time of the day. Maybe to try their other menus, like the Sundubu Jigae for instance....

So, I checked out this new spot in Nu Sentral. It seemed like a mix of Japanese and Korean, but it leaned way more towards Korean when I dug in. First off, the staff were awesome - friendly and happy to guide me through the menu. The place itself was pretty cool too, nice decor and comfy seating, not cramped like some places. One thing to note is the price. It might seem a bit steep at first, but trust me, the portions are HUGE! Like, share-with-a-friend kind of big. The food was good, mostly. Some dishes were pretty standard, but overall, it hit the spot. So really, it's not bad value at all. Only downside, the menu can be a bit cryptic. I kinda stared at it blankly for a minute, not sure what was what. But luckily, the staff swooped in and explained everything patiently. Overall, I'd say it's worth a try if you're looking for a good Korean feed with friendly service and big portions.
