After serious consideration, I would like to give out the following comment upon the worst experience I had in KL Westree Hotel. I’ve booked a room with windows in advance. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I can only have a room facing on the main street which located on the second floor. That was so noisy that I immediately asked for changing a room. But only plenty of rooms without windows are available. I asked about the refund of the different charges of two types of room but no response from the staff. They just refuse it.. Since travelling from long distance, I just accepted the room without windows for a night. The air conditioner inside the room spit out some water from it. The hot water pot is stink. I can’t sleep well for whole night. So early the next morning, a lady seemed to be in charge on duty. When I told her what happened the day before, she tried to apologise for what happened. Then I told her if there isn’t any room with windows not facing the main street, I want to check out and get my another 2 nights hotel charge refund. She promised to refund for the next two nights but telling me that I should proceed with my booking platform. So I checked out and contacted with the platform. Two days later, platform replied that the hotel refused to refund. The KL Westree Hotel is the worst hotel experience ever in my trip. The facilities is old and lack of maintenance. The attitude of the staff is rude. The management is a fake. I have no doubt to let all my friends and relatives know about what would it be for such a...

OMG, Hotel Westree was like, totally amazeballs! 🤩 Everything was exactly as described – super neat and clean, no cap. But the HUGE window? That was next level. Seriously, the view was straight-up Instagram-worthy. 📸
Location, location, location! NU Sentral and KLCC were right across the street – so convenient, it was cray-cray! 🤯 Plus, they had a prayer mat and kiblah marker in the room – major props for that thoughtful touch! 🙏
The staff? Absolute legends! Every single person at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. I can't remember everyone's names (sorry!), but each one left a lasting impression. One lady reminded me of my older sis – always giving me that 'you're late again?!' look 😂. Then there was this super energetic dude who helped me out like a younger bro. And another lady with the warmest smile ever! 😊 Even the person I saw at 7 am during checkout was super helpful – thanks again for the advice!
The hotel even had a downstairs fridge and oven where you could grab snacks and drinks – such a vibe! 🥤 The wifi was decent, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. ✨
Only a few minor things: A safety locker in the room would be a nice addition, and maybe a water filter in each room to cut down on plastic waste? Just a thought! 💡
Overall? This place felt like a home away from home. The staff made it extra special. 10/10 would recommend – but I'm deducting one point for the lack of a safety...
Read moreI stayed at the Westree Hotel for the first two nights during Kuala Lumpur leg of my recent solo trip to Malaysia. While I had pretty low expectations given the prices, I was pleasantly surprised with the facility and hopitality. Here are some more thoughts into my experience.||1. Location - It is just opposite the Nu Sentral mall - one attahed to KL Sentral which is the transportation hub for the city (and probably the country). So you are literally 5 minutes of a walk out from all modes of transport in the city (MRT/LRT/Bus/Train/MonoRail). Also, this is just besides the Little India region of KL so you have all kind of food available pretty easily.||2. Accommodation - The rooms are deent for the prices. I stayed at a single bed room and hence it was small enough to just accommodate a bed and leave some space for luggage. Comparitively, the washroom was decently sized. The room had all necessities including an electric kettle. ||3. Food - They do not have a kitchen so this isn't applicable. ||4. Hospitality & Service - Pretty good hospitality and check in was very smooth. They were happy to guide with any questions I had. ||5. Others - This is a perfect place if you plan to use a lot of public transport around the city. They are happy to hold luggage but are bit strict on check-in check-out times. The overall facility is small (no plush large arrival lounges) but is still welcoming...
