I came here on their last hour before closing and ordered their fish dish. Before my order came a crew started cleaning and swept the dirt towards me from outside to my corner. I am not sure if I was invisible. The fish had tons of toasted breadcrumbs on top and the fish was so dry. I had to ask lemon and soy sauce with a small bowl to put it on and dip the fish. With the dip, got its taste of life. The cabbage and cucumber were ok but was probably unnecessary. Overall, they could have avoided cleaning if they still have customers eating while it wasn't just me right there because it is really an unpleasant experience. Fish can also be cooked lightly to keep its juice and natural flavor. The ambiance was ok and hope they can slightly improve in the future.

Food was pretty good, and very affordable, especially if you are aware of their special deals. Ayam penyet highly recommended; rendang was just ok. I wish their digital ordering system would allow more customization though. For example, when I ordered the bakso kuah, there was a choice of sohun or mee. By choosing neither, I assumed that meant I didn’t want any noodles. But then it came with both! Not too sure I understand a few of the negative reviews about the service. This is a quick-service casual place. Don’t expect three-Michelin-star service please. The lady at the counter was super friendly, greeting almost every guest who entered and left the restaurant.

I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but as someone who relies on them, I had to say something. We ordered via QR at 7:47 PM. After waiting way too long, we had to ask the staff; cashier was on her phone, other staff were having dinner. The waiter looked surprised: “You ordered?” Only after we said something did we finally hear the kitchen bell go off. So basically, the order was just… sitting there until we followed up. Food arrived at 8:27 PM. One key item KACANG was missing from the sambal, and when we asked, the reply was just: “Dah habis.” Then why’s it still on the menu? Just for show? Loyal customers deserve better than this.

Absolutely deserves 5 stars! The location is super convenient — it’s on the ground floor of NU Sentral and just a short walk from KL Sentral, which makes it easily accessible whether you’re a local or a traveler transiting through.

The food was delicious and satisfying. I ordered their signature ayam penyet and it was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired perfectly with the sambal — spicy, rich, and authentic. The portion was generous, and the side dishes like tempeh and tofu were well-seasoned too.

Service was fast and efficient despite the crowd. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure the dining experience was smooth. The place is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for a quick meal or even a casual hangout.

Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Indonesian-style ayam penyet in the...

I recently tried Ayam Penyet, and it was a fantastic experience! The chicken was perfectly fried to a golden crisp while remaining tender and juicy inside. The "smashed" preparation gave it a unique texture, making it stand out from regular fried chicken.

The sambal (chili paste) was the highlight—spicy, flavorful, and fresh, adding a fiery kick to every bite. Paired with steamed rice, fresh vegetables, and crispy tempeh, the dish was a well-rounded meal that left me completely satisfied.

The portion size was generous, and the presentation was simple yet appealing. The balance of savory, spicy, and tangy flavors made it unforgettable. Definitely a must-try for fans of bold, authentic...
