While on vacation in Cancun, I was in search of the best octopus in local restaurants. Sirenas' octopus is in my top 2. It has a nice texture and is full of amazing taste. It was so good, that we kept returning to this place just to buy more of it. But the other food items are excellent as well - ceviches, calamari, aguachile, shrimps - are in the list of the ones we tried here. There are plenty of drinks to choose from. The restaurant is located on the coast, so you can enjoy views of the passing boats. Cards are accepted. I had to dock a star for 2 reasons. The service totally depends on the waitress - there's one English speaking waitress who is attentive to tables even when the restaurant is full. But also there's another one who just sits in her phone most of the time. The other reason is that there's a ferry station in 10 meters from the restaurant, so you will enjoy your food with diesel fumes coming from boats. If you come after 8 PM (time of the last ferry) it would not be an issue. Overall, I recommend checking this place, at least for their amazing octopus.

We had such a great time tonight. 4 of us are staying @Casa Maya and had intended to go out for a great birthday dinner. I landed on Sirenas menu and liked the variety of items and it was close so we gave it a try. I cannot stress how much we enjoyed our time! Service was fantastic, thank you Juan! We chose a good selection of foods to try and had them family style. The food was incredible! Take it from a professional Chef. Each dish had a unique flavour and no dish overpowered the others. Our guest of honor was treated well, they kept her glass full and presented some really great pecan pie for her cumpleanos. To Roger, we had such an amazing meal! I will absolutely recommend your restaurant to anyone I know visiting Cancun. I live down the highway in Playa del Carmen. I will be back. You all made our night. Thank you!

Unfortunately, this ended up being a meh experience. We didn’t realize that the live music and dancing was happening and ended up paying an extra 100 pesos (which was fine! I just didn’t realize this was a thing). Then, it was obvious the cooking team was short staffed because the food took forever to come out. We ordered appetizers - the fried calamari and chips + guac. The chips were store bought chips, and the guacamole came out after the first main dish already came out. The fried calamari was delicious though, would recommend. I ended up liking my salmon ceviche, but I feel like my group got a mixed experience with what they ordered (which I think she got a fried fish taco). The service was okay, but we couldn’t blame them because it was clear they were so short on staff. The drinks we got (strawberry daiquiri and tequila sunrise) were also alright. However, the menu has been updated and all of the prices are way more expensive (like around 300 pesos) than what you see here on Google Maps. It’s just not worth the price.

Food and service wasn’t great. They have increased their prices significantly (my group noticed prices for all dishes were increased by around 180+ pesos each so factor that in if you’re checking out their menu online because it is on the more expensive end). Also there is a 100 peso/person fee if the band starts playing before you finish so make sure you’re prepared to pay that. The band was awesome but the food and drinks were very middle of the road for the price. We also had to wait quite some time for our dishes and the server wasn’t super responsive BUT they were also fairly busy so I will give them a lot of grace with that. There’s better seafood restaurants around but if you just want to go for the vibe and salsa dancing it may be worth the price. The calamari was the best dish we had. Plating was also beautiful but the taste was alright.

When you want a mango margarita that's not on the menu and the bartender goes to get a mango and make you an absolutely fabulous one, you know you have 5 star service. Roger the bartender was really knowledgeable about drinks and makes the best. Food was awesome and the view at night by the oceanside looking at the Pirate ships out at bay adds that final piece of a unique and fabulous dining event. Eat here at 1/2 the price of the Harry's and Piropos and still leave feeling well fed, excellently serviced and properly hydrated. I can't say enough about my experience here. I ate here the last 2 nights of the 4 I was here. I gave up the all inclusive meals and drinks I paid for to enjoy this. It's a must do in Cancun

We are Salsa dancers and love Cuban music such as Son, Changüí and Timba. This is Cuban dance club Sirenas in Cancun. One of two we could figure out after asking around a lot. Not easy to find. It's a raw bar outside at the harbor next to hotel Occidental behind teatro cancun. They don't have Cuban music every night but we heard Friday and Saturday. We went on Friday. The website says starting at 9pm but the band arrived around 10:30pm. But they played great Cuban music until the 6 person band, Cesar y su Cubanisimo, started to play at around 11pm. It was great! We had a blast. A bit challenging to dance on concrete and stone tiles. Arrived back at hotel early morning.
