Just want to say a big thanks to Golden Homes Christchurch for building my new home. The journey from start to finish was faultless and no issues arose whatsoever. I am very grateful to the entire team for making what is a massive stress into a walk in the park. Fantastic work, keep it up.

Russell, I am so glad to have had the privilege to have you as my sales consultant and meet with you at the first meeting and remember your words of encouragement throughout this process, to be brave. Thank you for the effort and patience you put in continuously, even though I had backtracked on some initial plans, to find the perfect design and plan for me. This whole build process has been stress-free from day-one, not a single issue has occurred in my view. I have truly valued the time we have spent planning, getting the designs right and catching up here and there to banter. You have set the standard high in customer service and care. Keep up your positive energy. The subdivision looks great and am proud to be part of what Golden Homes Christchurch has achieved in the new area.

I stumbled into Riccarton Mall a year ago, just browsing after recent disappointing builder reports on a few house offers I'd made in local Christchurch. I had the serendipity of chatting with Karen Sheridan who invited me to dream that a brand new house might become a possibility within commutable distance. Karen took the time to show me some sections on offer in my price range, and we put my ideas to the Golden Homes design team. Very quickly dreams began to take form with plans and a mortgage accepted by the bank. The team at Golden Homes were very kind to me around my silly schedule and have me plenty of room to put my style into the build. Tayler Reed and Karen sat down and explained the time frame once council consents had been approved and from that point on most weeks Tayler keep me up-to-date on the current state of the build. Once the build got going it was amazing to watch how quickly it got put together. What a thrill. Tayler and Karen continued to be responsive, organised, thorough with detail and courteous with sub contractors throughout the entire process. Today, my new home got officially handed over. I am delighted, and could not be happier with my home. Thank you to the legends Karen and Tayler. Other huge acknowledgements to all the background folk in the office and on site contractors making this possible. Special mentions to Annie from Trends Kitchens, Skilled Electrical with Brad, Jed and their excellent lighting, Tash from NextDore and Mallia wardrobes. I had a truly wonderful experience building my home with Golden Homes. From the initial consultation to the final handover, everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations.

My Sales and Design Consultant, Karen Sheridan, was amazing throughout the whole journey. She was warm, approachable, and incredibly patient — even when I made multiple changes to the design. She always responded to my emails promptly, even during holidays and evenings, keeping me updated and offering helpful advice along the way.

My Project Manager, Tayler Reed, was equally impressive — professional, approachable, and very detail-oriented. He never overlooked even the smallest issues and always followed up promptly. His fortnightly email updates kept me fully informed of the building progress, which meant I didn’t need to be on-site to know exactly what was happening. He was also extremely patient with all my questions.

From consent to handover, the whole process took just five months — smooth and stress-free. Compared to my first home-buying experience, this was far more enjoyable and effortless. I would absolutely recommend Golden Homes to anyone considering...
