I joined Body20 back in April, just as I was restarting my Keto Journey again. I came across Body20 online, decided to give it a go with a trial session, and from that moment, I knew it was for me. I havenāt regretted my decision once.
Iāve only ever missed one class (due to a selfāinflicted injury, lol), because I truly donāt like missing my sessions. I love that each class has a trainer, and with only up to three of us at a time, I always feel safe and supported. I also do not like to waste the trainers time , so ensure I attend at least two sessions a week. I try not to cancel or change my sessions too much.
I asked alot of questions before i went to the trial session, due to my age, my weight and being unfit. When I started, I was 102.2kg, and now Iām down to 98.5kg! I know without Body20, I wouldnāt be here. This is my third time doing Keto, but in the past, I didnāt combine it with exercise ā and what a difference it makes now!
I brag about Body20 to my workmates and whÄnau on Facebook all the time, even though itās hard to fully describe what itās like. I do a scan (on EVOLT scanner) each time I go and love reading my BWI results. Iām learning more about what all the measurements mean and seeing real changes in the circumference of my tummy and other areas.
Iāve cut out takeaways, except for the occasional cheat meal of Katsu chicken with salad. Iām giving my all to my sessions and my nutrition because I donāt want to waste my trainerās time ā or mine. At my age, I appreciate the awhi(help) and guidance of the trainers who are helping me achieve my goals.
One of the unexpected benefits has been my posture. I used to have pain in the middle of my back from slouching it was annoying, but thanks to Body20, that pain is gone.
Joining Body20 has been one of the best choices Iāve made for my health and wellbeing. Give it a go. There are members of all ages, sizes its great, and great trainers. They read your scan results and chat with you about your goals. Its just a whole and new different way for me to get exercise in . Gotta put the work in and the healthy eating along with it. I'm only saying that as, I do that. Not like before, my was eating good, lost weight slowwwlyy but no exercise. Okay I need to stop as I'll end up writing a book. Through the strengthening classes I have gained back so much strength in my weak shoulders, connected with my abs again and my knees have never been this strong and pain free, in my life. I also enjoyed Cardio once a week, which pushed me to my limit in a very safe way for my body. At each session you have an accurate scan to show data such as how many calories your body actually needs, and how much fat you are carrying inside your body. It's extremely beneficial. Short but intense workouts, is what I love. If you are someone that doesnāt have a lot of time but still loves a workout challenge this is for you!!
Bernadine creates the best workout routines to suite each individuals fitness level, regardless if you are new to fitness or wanting that extra push in your normal gym routine.
The equipment is easy to use and you definitely feel the burn.
So far this whole journey was great. Feeling pumped and ready for my abs.
