After finding some items I liked online, I thought I would have a look/try on the items at the Newmarket branch on Monday (Labour Day) while I was there shopping at other stores. First of all, my partner & I were not greeted ONCE during our entire time in there! The sales assistants were happy to stare us down no matter where we walked and how much I tried to smile at them to show approachability, but still did not get any form of customer service whatsoever. We had shopping bags with us from Subtype, so it's not like we looked like browsers who didn't have money to spend? Makes me wonder whether it was due to our skin colour being darker than the other people who were shopping in there. It feels like they alter their service based on your appearance and the brands you carry. When you’re buying from them, they’re fine. But the moment you need an exchange or have any other inquiry, you’ll be left frustrated.
