Coach Newmarket — Local services in Waitematā

I recently visited the Coach store in Newmarket to buy a perfume for my birthday. I selected the Coach Dreams perfume, which comes in a white bottle. I told the retail assistant that I wanted the white Coach perfume, and she brought it from the store room and confirmed it by showing me the tester, which I tried and liked.

However, when I opened the box at home, I realized it was the Coach Dreams Sunset perfume, which comes in an orange bottle—not the one I had chosen. I was quite disappointed and mentioned this in the feedback email after the purchase, along with a low rating.

The next morning, I received a call from the Newmarket Coach store manager regarding the incident. She kindly asked me to visit the store for an exchange. I went to Coach Newmarket to buy a bag. Unfortunately, my English is still not very good. I felt completely uncomfortable with the two saleswomen, one of Asian descent who wore a black mask and had light hair, and the other, a brunette with dark hair and a bun, who actually helped me. They kept whispering and making faces while I looked at the bag in the mirror. I don't know if she thought I wasn't going to buy the bag. But even if that were the case, as a customer, I only bought from this store because my flight was today and I couldn't go to another store because of the time. I always buy from Gucci, and I have always and never been treated this way, as I was at Coach. Went into the store on Saturday 5th April with a friend to both get our bag tags stamped (we were super excited). There was two ladies working and they were extremely unwelcoming, were not interested in doing the service for us, I had to ask to see what I could stamps I could use and they were whispering to each other so we could not hear them. They made us feel extremely uncomfortable and belittled, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. My friend and I left the store shocked with the situation.
