I made a formal complaint to the commerce commission about this establishment. I had bought some snacks yesterday and noticed a worker was telling other customers they have a 1 + 1 deal. I didnt know if this applied to me or not. So today I went again to buy more snacks and i was offered the deal verbally..i asked why wasnt i told this yesterday and why I paid full price yesterday.. a team member spoke to her colleagues about this..possibly a manager who said something in Chinese and no one helped or even explained..just avoided us and carried on their conversation. Rude, no customer service..and AWKWARD. Looks like they pick and choose who gets this deal as nothing is advertised in store which is illegal. I think they need to remember they work under NZ law..and they need to stop being disgusting...

The sales assistants are very polite and friendly. But the male manager is very rude to the sales assistants and customers. After I placed my chips on the counter, the male manager picked up the pack of chips with a grumpy face, check the expiry date and then throw/drop the chips back to the counter in front of me with a judgmental face. Also the sales assistants would take a photo of the stuff when you paid by the counter. This is because the male manager is not at the store and they need to show evidence to the male manager as the male manager doesn't trust the staff. I know this because the sales assistants do not need to take photo when the male manager is standing by...

I bought 2 packages of Japanese eyeliner, turned out one of them was empty and no eyeliner was in there. I went back to the shop and asked for exchange with a new one. Then the store person was like “did you not feel the weight difference( because I bought 2, one with the thing in it and one with not)?”, how ridiculous the question is when the eyeliner was just like 2 grams or something, and also asked me whether if I opened the box or not which of course I did to check if the thing is in it and I just can’t see it from outside of the box. After all, they said they’re gonna check the camera footage and the package number or whatever. I needed to buy another one and never...
