Horrible experience! First thing I noticed was there was hair from previous customers everywhere. Gross! The hairdresser didn't even ask me what I wanted and was ready to just cut away. I actually should've left then and there. But I explained what I was after: I only wanted my ends cut so that everything is back to one length. A standard thing and impossible to stuff up for a trained hairdresser. What I got in the end was a haircut that looked like a 6-year-old had done it!!! My hair was all at different lengths, you couldn't even call it a haircut. Clearly the lady who cut my hair was completely inexperienced and unqualified. I was even asked if I liked my haircut!!! When I complained, the manager came over and explained that it was a misunderstanding. If your staff's language skills are not good enough to understand the customer's wishes that's a real problem! Do something about that! I'm also not sure how this could be a misunderstanding. I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually want a haircut like the one I ended up with. The manager then rescued what was possible and 'fixed' the rest by blow-drying everything into place! I lost more hair than I wanted and the cut is still uneven! I got an apology and an offer for another free cut but this is the first and only time I set foot into this 'salon'. DO...

First and foremost, I want to warn potential clients about the outrageously high prices charged here. I agreed to pay $425 for a haircut and natural balayage, which is absolutely exorbitant. Despite that, I was willing to trust the hairdresser's expertise based on the online praises. However, right after the session, I was shocked to discover that my highlights had turned blue, which was far from what I had requested. I looked awful and felt extremely uncomfortable, especially considering that I work in luxury hospitality where appearance matters greatly. I immediately complained to the salon, seeking a refund as I no longer wanted them to touch my hair after such a disastrous experience. Unfortunately, they refused to reimburse me, displaying a complete lack of professionalism and empathy towards their dissatisfied customer. I want to warn all potential clients of this salon: if you value your hair and appearance, AVOID IT at all costs! Their work is far from meeting their claims and excessively...

We have been Kevin's customers since 2019 and have been loyal customers ever since! Their shop/salon is at level 1 (same building with City Fitness and Hulucat Queen St) We referred so many friends to try Q Hair Cafe, so far all come back again, very happy with all our hair cut and hair treatment services (keratin/perm/color etc). First thing after COVID lockdown, we tried to book in advanced only thru him!

They are so friendly with excellent customer service that will make you feel welcome. Above all, very skillful and professional, he will give his professional advise if it can really go well or not or what suits your hair best. Remember to book in advance!
