I talked to the person on the chat on the Pandora website about whether they had a charm in stock. They said the Queen Street store was out of stock but Newmarket had 2 in stock.
I proceeded to 'Click and Collect' and selected the New Market store which said the charm was 'in-stock'. I put in my details and paid online and it was successful and I got a payment and order confirmation email. The website said click and collect orders would be ready in around 3 hours.
Around 15 minutes later, I got another email saying my order was cancelled because there was no stock of what I ordered. The payment had gone through but the email said a refund will be processed in 3-5 business days. I had to then spend more money by going instore to the Sylvia Park Pandora as what I was getting was going to be a gift. Now I have to wait for a refund.
Why does Pandora not confirm stock levels before deducting my account and processing the payment?
I looked on the website again and it said the New Market store still said they had stock.
The Pandora website is not up-to-date with stock levels like many other online retailers which is extremely unreliable and unfair for those who spend hundreds of dollars using your Click and Collect function. And the 3-5 business days wait for a refund is totally unacceptable.
Is there a fair-trading violation...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with the customer service at the Newmarket Pandora store. I visited on Saturday 7th June around 5-6pm in regarding a bracelet I purchased less than 3 months ago, which had broken despite being well looked after and still under warranty. The glue attaching the bracelet to the metal clasp failed, causing it to detach.
When I asked for help, the staff member instantly accused me of damaging it myself which is completely untrue and very upsetting. She didn’t even take a moment to look at my warranty receipt before making that judgment. Instead of assisting me properly, she told me to go buy glue and a clamp to fix it myself. I found this completely unacceptable for a product still under warranty. Her dismissive tone and lack of care left me feeling frustrated and disrespected.
After reading recent reviews for this store, it seems like poor service and lack of proper training is a recurring issue with the staff at Newmarket Pandora. I expected better from such a well known brand. I hope Pandora seriously looks into this and takes action to improve their customer...
Read moreService was really uncomfortable, when trying things on I could feel the arendant reaching to get the bracelet back. I had to assertively ask to have her take out a charm and pass it to me so I could look at it. This was after asking I see it from under the glass. So she would take items out from underneath and then hold them towards her above glass and I had to ask to see a charm at a time. While looking at charms I felt watched.. As she stood antisipating my returning the items. I let her know she could help someone else while I had a look around.
Ive now been in the store waiting to be served for a long time. Two employees have left un the time ive waited, after looking at all items in the store I know what I want to consider. But no service. The lady that was servicing me also mentioned. “You could look at them online and take a screen shot” just unnecessary really. Making ppl feel like this when we are just trying to enjoy shopping. Ive never stolen, if that was what that was about. And whouldnt be...
