I never leave bad reviews but this time i just feel like i have to.This was THE WORST experience i have ever had with any nail salon. One day, awhile back, i was walking by and I saw this nail/ beauty salon. I saw that they do nail extension using gel (i.e same as acrylic nails but using clear gel instead). I ask how much it cost and they said 100 NZD. This weekend I wanted to get my nails done and gave them a call to book an appointment. I explained that I wanted extension using gel and said that i want the same as acrylic but using gel instead. She said that they use tips and if it was ok with me , to which I replied yes and booked the appointment. When I walked in there was another person getting their nails done the way i wanted so i was getting pretty excited. The took the payment and 5 minutes later they started working on my nails. The girl that was working on my nails started gluing the tips to nails, she did cut the cuticle but it didn't involve any manicure. Once all tips were glued on she asked if i chose the color , I did show the color and she was about to apply it. I got a bit surprised and asked if she is going to put a gel on top but since she doesn't speak English, the person next to me translated and said that there will be gel on top of the color - I know its weird but i kind of trusted their judgement. She applied the color and then top coat and said that we were all done. When I asked about it they said that the technique that wanted was a different technique and it cost so much more, although they never asked or gave me any options to choose from. They said they glued the tip on he whole nail ( just like if you'd glue those fake nails from a shop). The lady that was doing nails for another person looked so angry and told the girl who was doing my nails to put the gel on top of my nail. I thought she was going to do it properly but no, all she did was take the topcoat off and apply the gel on top of the fake nail only which would not make any difference - they still attached to my nail with glue only. When I told them that it will not make any difference and that is not my first time doing nails she got even angrier but at that point so did I. I asked them to reapply the top coat as I understood they were not planning on doing it properly. They didn't even bother to file the numbers of the tips. So basically i just paid 100 NZD for glued on nails with shellac on top. Very disappointed and will never...
