We had a fantastic day out on 'Sunkiss' exploring the Waitemata. Our crew of 8 enjoyed the facilities on board and sailing even in the strong breeze was excellent! The bareboat charter we opted for was a great choice for my father and his sailing buddy to get behind the wheel again - as they are now unable to maintain and sail their own yachts, this proved to be a great way to get a days sailing without the stress of ownership! We also had 4 of the younger family members crewing and they loved their first taste of proper sailing and look forward to many more outings. The whole process of booking and induction was very un-complicated and communication with Russell was first class! He is a very nice, obliging guy and was always looking to make our day as perfect as possible. Our only regret is we didn't have enough time on our holiday schedule for an overnight charter. This is the second time our group have been hosted by Russel and Karen. We are not “sailors” by any means however we felt safe, welcome and comfortable both times. I’d 110% recommend these guys for a memorable day on the moana. Their extensive knowledge and absolute passion for the mahi they do makes the trip all the more wonderful! We booked this trip as a winter getaway with a group of friends and what a fantastic weekend away we had! Russel and Karen were fantastic hosts We arrived at the accomodation on Friday night with a beautiful dinner prepared and left in the fridge for us with a delicious bottle of Bellini Day 2 was a fabulous day out on the water on the yacht Kiss we had a beautiful 5 star meal in a bay with a beautiful view and had a great time sailing and exploring the bays with time on Motuarohia Honestly this was a great weekend away with friends and I would highly recommend it to all
