Price: expensive for the taste. Some food is okay but not like very very okay. Especially the leg chicken its a little blunt. But i love the ensalada.
Cleanliness: it is the best filipino restaurant that we tried so far in terms of cleanliness and space. But aircon when we dine there maybe is not working but still okay.
Service: This is the worst! The way how she assisted us is very NOT accomodating! She is not good in customer service! She doesn't have care to customers or maybe because we are a filipino as well like most of filipinos treat foreigner better than there fellow filipinos. But I am a manager as well in a nepalese restaurant, i really do my best if i know i have a filipino customer like i want them to feel that they are important, And we did not feel it when we eat there. But kudos here mind is good she memorize our order with out writing it down but please train here on how to assist and say pleasury words to customer especially for her fellow filipino because its a filo restaurant, expect most customers will be filipino. What i wanted to say is if the customer service is great like if she made us feel at home even the food is not super great we will feel better because its not only the taste customers are looking for, its also about how you treat them so that they will be back to eat again. Please train here well on how to deal with customers nicely! We are planning to visit very soon.we hope to see some...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic Filipino flavours, Boracay certainly doesn't disappoint but that's just it. The restaurant certainly makes unassuming and delicious Filipino food but the buck stops there. Dining there doesn't feel like eating out, it feels as if you're just eating mom's home cooking (not that there's anything wrong with it but you eat out for a special reason). The restaurant has tasteless decor and plays tacky music reminiscent of Philippine beer houses back in the day.
The $10 siomai for 8 pieces is probably the most value-for-money item. The serving sizes for the meals that we had were inconsistent, the lechon kawali and bistek Tagalog that we ordered, for example, was supposed to be good for one but was good for two. The pancit canton was only good for one despite being supposed to be a sharing platter. I would love to see them offer basic single-person meal sets for a lower price ($15 at most) or keep it at $20 but add some sides to the meal at least.
Our waitresses were very polite and friendly and the service was fast and efficient. It's location was also a plus, not right on the waterfront but close enough.
We didn't order or try enough items on the menu to be able to get at a more definitive rating so I'm going to say we are going back again and give...
Read moreWe Filipinos love food and one way or the other, our local cuisine will pull us back wherever we may go and Boracay Garden Restaurant Ltd is the place to go to if you are craving for local Filipino dishes. This restaurant is now under a new management and the food is really great 👍🏼 and what makes the experience better is the warm superb service we received when we dined in and the chill and relaxed atmosphere of the place. The interior matches its name so well as it will instantly brings you to the feels of dining along the white sandy shores of Philippines famous beach -Boracay. We went tonight for a send off dinner of our Grandma who will head back to NY tomorrow and we have no regrets of taking here here. We ordered the classic glass noodles - Pansit, pork barbeque, pork Sizzling sisig and a breakfast favourite - tosilog! Each dish was prepared so well and deserves a star. Unlike the modernised filipino fusion dish offered elsewhere, the ones they serve here is legit coming straight out of your Mum's kitchen back home. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to everyone ^_^ kudos to everyone specially to lovely owner who took time to chat with us and to Ate Helen who served our...
