A Culinary Delight in a Beautiful Setting – El Pisonay is a Must-Visit

Dining at El Pisonay was truly a highlight of our trip. Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, the atmosphere alone is enough to make you want to linger. But once the food arrives, you realize it’s not just the setting that’s exceptional—it’s everything.

We started with the soup, which was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was the perfect way to begin the meal, warming and comforting yet full of depth.

Then came the margarita pizza, and it was nothing short of fantastic. With a perfectly crisp crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and just the right balance of cheese and fresh basil, every bite was a treat. Simple, classic, and done to perfection.

The service was warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. El Pisonay strikes that rare balance between elegance and comfort, making it ideal whether you’re stopping in for a casual bite or a special evening out.

If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. El Pisonay delivers an unforgettable dining experience from the first bite to the last. We’re still thinking about that pizza—and already dreaming of...

This place hooked me right away! The food is super delicious, is on a more than fair price and gets served with more love than my mom ever gave to me. I’ve never experienced such a heartwarming service before. So if there would be merch with the cook on it, when he serves the food, I would buy it. It feels like he’s giving you the most precious thing he ever create. Every time.

After a long day at the rainbow mountains,Machu Picchu or Huamantay Lake, sitting next to the calmly burning Pizza Ofen let you forget all the strains of the day and leaves you back with a nicely filled stomach when reflecting about all the beautiful moments you experienced the last days

Usually we experiment with restaurants a lot but after the first time being here we went here 3 days straight.

More than a...

Came here for dinner with a group of seven at a friends recommendation! The restaurant is quite small so we had to wait 5-10 min when we arrived at 7pm on Saturday.

We shared the avocado salad, sopa casa, sopa Andina, three large pizzas (avocado, cheese and onion, El Pisonay), lomo saltado, alpaca saltado, aji trout, lemonade and passionfruit juice. Highlights were definitely the avocado salad and sopa casa - the best and most flavorful soup we’ve had on our travels through Peru! The pizza toppings were tasty but the crust was a bit lacklustre. The complimentary garlic bread was really good too.

A cozy, homey spot for a tasty meal further away from the city centre of Cusco, with friendly service and...

World traveler here. Even though they don't specialize in pizza my experience was still good. The pizza was cooked right beside me which was very cool. Nice warm but small place to have a relaxing dinner and take a break from the cold. I had a Hawaiian Pizza and added mushroom (they forgot to add mushrooms to my pizza) and extra sauce 7/10 I also tried a stuffed avocado which was something I haven't seen before. 7/10 I would come again Please follow @bouncingplaces on YOUTUBE as It helps support the channel so I can continue sharing amazing places like this to eat and fun adventures as I travel the world full time 🌎 🙏 See you in the next one!
