A Culinary Delight in a Beautiful Setting – El Pisonay is a Must-Visit
Dining at El Pisonay was truly a highlight of our trip. Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, the atmosphere alone is enough to make you want to linger. But once the food arrives, you realize it’s not just the setting that’s exceptional—it’s everything.
We started with the soup, which was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was the perfect way to begin the meal, warming and comforting yet full of depth.
Then came the margarita pizza, and it was nothing short of fantastic. With a perfectly crisp crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and just the right balance of cheese and fresh basil, every bite was a treat. Simple, classic, and done to perfection.
The service was warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. El Pisonay strikes that rare balance between elegance and comfort, making it ideal whether you’re stopping in for a casual bite or a special evening out.
If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. El Pisonay delivers an unforgettable dining experience from the first bite to the last. We’re still thinking about that pizza—and already dreaming of...

It feels like he’s giving you the most precious thing he ever create. Every time.

Highlights were definitely the avocado salad and sopa casa - the best and most flavorful soup we’ve had on our travels through Peru! The pizza toppings were tasty but the crust was a bit lacklustre. The complimentary garlic bread was really good too.
A cozy, homey spot for a tasty meal further away from the city centre of Cusco, with friendly service and...
