Meze Wrap is a must-try restaurant when in Boracay! It stands out from other restaurants by offering Middle Eastern cuisine favorites not commonly found elsewhere on the island.
THE FOOD
🍢 I opted for the Meze 3 Tray, where I got beef, pork, and chicken kebabs with two signature sauces and a serving of rice. The kebabs were perfectly seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices, and the sauces complemented them well, although I forgot their names, I enjoyed both.
🍟 I also tried their Meze Fries, which were deliciously seasoned and came with a unique dip that really stood out.
🍋 The Calamansi Iced Tea was too sweet, and tasted too artificial.
THE LOCATION
📍 The dining area is located on the 3rd floor accessible via a steep spiral staircase, which may not be senior-friendly. But once upstairs, the beautiful interiors make it worth the climb, perfect for those Instagram-worthy moments.
THE PRICE
💸 While slightly on the pricey side, the portions are generous. The Meze 3 Tray, which is actually good for two people, offers good value for money considering the quality and quantity of food served.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, I loved the experience at Meze Wrap and would definitely return on my next...
Read moreThe good: The pita bread was good. I requested for it to be lightly toasted (highly recommended) and it was served perfectly. Hummus, kebab, side dishes were just okay. The service was also relatively good, all the staff were kind and responsive.
The bad: The sauces were bland and the kebabs were cold.
The ugly: Maybe my expectations were just too high given the google reviews and it just led to disappointment. The serving sizes of the side dishes, hummus, and sauces were too small: all the sauces were barely the size of a teaspoon. Since the sauces were bland, we added more sauces to our kebabs than usual. When we requested for extra sauces we were shocked to learn that extra will cost 50php each. 50php each for less than a teaspoon of bland sauce. Aside from that, the amount of olive oil included in the hummus was too little and so we requested for a little bit more olive oil and they gave us just a few drops of extra olive oil (not even half a teaspoon). At this point I just lost my appetite at the level of stinginess of this place. If they gave us a reasonable amount of servings (sauce and olive oil) in the first place similar to most restaurants, I wouldn't have even...
Read moreI recently visited Meze Wrap and tried the Meze plate number 3. The dish was very good, and the presentation was impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and found the quality to be excellent.
The service at Meze Wrap was fine. The staff were friendly, but not very attentive. While they were polite and approachable, I did feel that they could have been more attentive to the customers' needs.
The ambiance of the place is nice. It is well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere added to the overall dining experience in a positive way.
In terms of value for money, I found it to be less than decent. While the food quality was good, the pricing did not quite match up to the overall experience. It felt a bit on the higher side for what was offered.
Overall, Meze Wrap provides a good dining experience with tasty food and a pleasant ambiance. However, there is room for improvement in terms of service attentiveness and value for money. I would still recommend it to those looking for a nice place to enjoy a flavorful meal, keeping in mind the...
