Lotte Cinema — Local services in Seoul

Overall, the theater itself was not bad. Pretty standard food and cleanliness. We went to see서울의 봄. It was a great movie in itself. However, it was ruined by the fact that I had to plug my ears throughout the whole movie given the loud volume. I guess a great place to go if you suffer from hearing loss or want to get permanent hearing damage in your twenties. I had never had a problem with the volume at movie theaters in the past. I could tell other people were also bothered by the excessive volume and my boyfriend was also plugging his ears. Sure–keep in mind, there were lots of gunshots, loud music, and phone rings in the movie. But I could still hear normal voices with my ears plugged and then when gunshots occurred it felt like my whole body was ringing. Had to leave in middle of the movie to tell the staff to see if anything could have been done. Nothing was done. May have been an error but do not want...

I recently visited the luxury movie theater 'Charlotte' and found it quite appealing. In Korea, CGV theaters are the most popular, known for their wide range of locations and tasty popcorn. CGV's luxury option is called 'Gold Class,' which shares a similar concept and ambiance with 'Charlotte.' The main difference is that 'Charlotte' has partitions next to the seats, providing a more private and separated experience. Personally, I prefer 'Charlotte' and plan to visit it more frequently when there are interesting...
