I recently revisited this leather goods store in Barcelona for the second time. Initially, I shopped for myself, but this time I chose a gift for a professor. I opted for Atelier Madre again because of their excellent product quality, the sleek and versatile designs suitable for all ages, and very reasonable prices—luxurious yet more affordable than big-name brands, and a step above typical souvenirs like fridge magnets or postcards.

The staff's proficiency in English is among the best I've encountered in Barcelona, making communication seamless. They are also patient, gentle, and elegant, providing clear, reasoned, and helpful advice on gift selection. Another standout feature of their service is the personalized engraving offered on their products, which I highly recommend. Not only did they engrave the professor’s gift with his surname, but they also kindly offered to engrave my previously purchased card holder with my desired text.

Spending a couple of hundred euros in tourist shops in Barcelona is easy, but I assure you that the items from Atelier Madre are some of the best keepsakes you can find in the city: top-quality products, and a cozy stop in your journey that feels like a warm embrace. I visited this store on a recent trip to Barcelona. The quality of the pieces looked great and I liked how you could customize pieces. I placed an order for the long tote bag. When I purchased the bag I was told it would be ready before I left to go back home. When I went to pick it up on the promised day I was informed it was not ready and would be shipped to me. It has been about a week since I left and have received no updates on the status of the bag or responses on my inquires about the bag. I think I got taken advantage of and paid 320 euros for something I’m not going to receive. If you can’t walk away with the item, don’t buy it...
