I recently had the pleasure of exploring both Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with Serengeti Insider Safaris, and it was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we set out, the team made every effort to ensure the trip was enjoyable, comfortable, and tailored to our interests.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the wildlife and landscapes. His expertise added so much to the journey, helping us not only spot animals but understand their behaviors, ecosystems, and the efforts being made to protect them. Seeing the Great Migration up close and witnessing lions, elephants, giraffes, and so many other animals in their natural habitats was nothing short of breathtaking.

The company’s attention to detail truly set them apart. Accommodations were comfortable and perfectly located, offering stunning views and a peaceful retreat after each adventurous day. They took care of everything—meals, transport, and timing of each activity—allowing me to simply relax and fully enjoy the experience.

Ngorongoro Crater was another highlight, and having a guide who knew just where to look made a huge difference. We saw diverse wildlife up close, including some rarer species I had only hoped to see. The scenery was spectacular, and the whole experience felt like stepping into a wildlife documentary.

Our safari with Frederik was nothing short of extraordinary. Right from the beginning, he showed incredible dedication to making this journey unforgettable. He made sure we had the best possible experience at every turn — patiently stopping at animal sightings, getting us impressively close while always being respectful of the animals and their space. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, the landscape, and their behaviors during the drives was truly impressive. It’s obvious that he loves what he does, and that enthusiasm was contagious.

Every part of the trip was perfectly organized — from the smooth daily schedule to the seamless logistics. The accommodations were top-tier, a true 10/10, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged, including a spectacular hot air balloon flight that left us speechless. The meals were also consistently delicious.

Highlights for me included our peaceful lunch breaks surrounded by giraffes and elephants, spotting countless animals (yes, including the Big Five!), and spending the night in luxury tents right in the heart of the bush. It was glamping at its finest — falling asleep to the sounds of the wild was pure magic.

Our recent 7-day safari with Serengeti Insider Safaris was a truly unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the trip was well-organized, and the Serengeti Insider team went above and beyond to ensure our journey was smooth, exciting, and filled with once-in-a-lifetime moments.

The highlight of our accommodations was definitely staying at the luxury Serena Lodge and Ngorongoro Oldean Mountain Lodge. Both offered such breathtaking views, incredible hospitality, and the perfect touch of comfort after a day of adventure. Waking up in the heart of the wild with such a beautiful atmosphere around us was truly magical!

Our guide, with his deep knowledge of wildlife and natural history, made every game drive insightful and thrilling. We were able to witness the Big Five and many other incredible animals up close, and his skills in spotting wildlife were truly impressive.

One area for improvement would be day-to-day communication. Though everything was well-planned and smooth, a bit more regular updates or check-ins would have made us feel even more connected. But overall, this was a minor point in an otherwise perfect safari experience.
