The positives — great location! I spent two weeks at this hotel. It was close enough to Bangla Street as well as the hot spots of Patong/the beach and EVERYTHING ELSE but far enough away from excess noise of live music bars. The only annoying exception was the Thai pancake vender at the entrance to the property, probably independent of this property, who was cranking Russian music in the wee morning hours…very annoying for people trying to sleep. Nice rooftop pool — very enjoyable with metal steps to a perch for beautiful sunset views! The restaurant patio was really nice at dusk with 2-for-1 happy hour drinks. There is a professional Thai massage place in the alley between the two hotel buildings and — believe it or not— a cat hotel! The Aspery Hotel is very accessible for the day trip and tour van pickups. The staff was very helpful in arranging my trip back to the airport in Phuket. Moreover the staff was friendly and assisted me to easily change rooms due to an issue with my initial room. To be discussed later. The buffet breakfast was okay. There is a FANTASTIC breakfast/brunch/lunch place across the street and a bit closer to the beach called “mood”, which I highly recommend! It was my local “go-to” restaurant when I didn’t want to chance the tasty & less expensive street vendors next to the beach. One time from something I ate from a local street vendor, I got a case of “Bangkok belly”. Most of the time, and if it is cooked well, no issues. The negatives — My first room of my two-week stay at the Aspery Hotel deserved 1 star. I moved rooms after four days. I believe it was 4204 or 4304 or something like that. The toilet would not flush. The staff tried to fix it but believed there was a hard object blocking the flow. At first after inspecting the toilet, they told me to just hold down the handle…that did not work. Also there was rust or dirt in the bathroom. That room should NEVER have been available for guests. It was in the second building across the small walkway from the primary hotel building. After changing rooms, my plumbing worked fine. That room was in the primary building (the hotel building with the reception desk, restaurant, etc.). That room was a 3/4 star room. The bed was very comfortable too. It would be nice if the swimming pool were available into the night hours, and close for example at 8P…It closes at 6P. Also, there is not a gym for the guests. Also, there was a bit of a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Maybe normal in Phuket? Not too sure?

The hotel is in a nice location, just far enough away from the insanity of Walking Street, but a short walk if that’s what you’re into. There’s a small rooftop pool with tanning lounges and beds. It closes at 6:00pm though, which I felt was way too early for those of us who’d like a nighttime swim before bed. I’ve stayed here before and was a bit more pleased then than now. The rooms are becoming dated, and the bathrooms are showing their age with tile repairs, old fixtures, and under-sink cabinetry that really needs to be replaced. The a/c worked well, while you were in the room. As with most hotels in Asia these days, you have to place your room card key in a slot that activates the power in your room. I get the need to conserve, but I’m finding these things unacceptable. For example, if you want to leave your phone or any accessories to charge while you go out, forget it. And when you return to your room, it’s hot and stuffy for quite awhile until the a/c can overcome. In this hot and humid environment, it just doesn’t work to do it this way. Want to set it back a few degrees? Ok, but don’t shut it off completely. Room has a standard safe for your valuables. The TV has two different remotes, I guess one for the TV and one for the cable. There were no instructions for use, no guide, and luckily I’m a savvy tech guy so I figured it out. The typical person is likely to get caught up in an endless loop of trying the remotes. I didn’t find any interesting English channels. The signal was lousy and the picture and audio would stumble often, so I gave up on it and just streamed my music to a portable speaker I had. I liked this hotel because it also has a decent restaurant downstairs, and a nice buffet breakfast. But it isn’t what it used to be. Staff are excellent, though. They get five stars. I’ll also add that you can drop off your laundry right at the front desk and get it back later the same day, 50 baht/kg, the going rate everywhere, so they’re not gouging you for that. Also, there’s a really nice massage spa on the premises too. Again, with only the going rates as I saw walking around, and you’d probably be way more likely to get a good massage here than one of those street “spas.”

Aspery Hotel in Patong is a delightful accommodation choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in one of Phuket's most vibrant areas. Having recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, I am pleased to share my experience. First and foremost, the location of Aspery Hotel is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Patong, it is just a short stroll away from the famous Patong Beach, renowned for its stunning shoreline and lively atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by a plethora of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, ensuring that guests have everything they need within reach. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive hotel staff, who made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The reception area is tastefully designed, exuding a contemporary and welcoming ambiance. The staff members were always available to assist with any queries or requests, further enhancing the overall experience. The rooms at Aspery Hotel are spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully decorated. Mine featured modern furnishings, a comfortable bed, and a private balcony with views of the city. The amenities provided were of high quality, including a flat-screen TV, minibar, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The housekeeping service was excellent, ensuring a clean and tidy room throughout my stay. The hotel also boasts an impressive rooftop pool, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Patong. Additionally, the fitness center was well-equipped for those looking to maintain their workout routines while traveling. The on-site restaurant at Aspery Hotel offers a diverse menu of Thai and international dishes. I enjoyed a few meals there and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attentive service of the staff. In conclusion, Aspery Hotel in Patong is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and centrally located accommodation option. With its prime location, well-appointed rooms, attentive staff, and excellent amenities, it exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Patong and looking for a memorable stay

It’s a decent hotel for the price and great when it comes to location. Rooms were good and spacious.

I could have given 3 to 4 star hotel but I am not doing this because a place/Hotel which cheats or Scam their own guests cannot be trusted.

We wanted to book Phi phi Island Speed boat tour and James Bond tour via big boat. After inquiring in the market, I was getting both these tours for 4100-4200 Bhat in total for two of us.

I thought that I should check about the tour in Hotel also and inquired and took details of the tour from their tour desk representative, her name is "May" and she is there in the morning shift 8 AM to 3 PM.

We found her prices on the higher side and gave our counter offer of 4300 Bhat. She became very rude with us and told us look somewhere else.

My wife was feeling bad that we are not booking with her after inquiring with her so as a friendly gesture she asked her name to which she replied very rudely that she do not want to share, we also felt a sense of racism from her end but ignored.

We went and sit down in the lobby to discuss about where to book, while we were discussing she came back to us and said that she spoke to her friend and they are ready to offer both the tours at the price we are asking. We took that offer and booked the tour with her, paid 200-300 bhat more then the market price outside but had a sense of relief that it’s worth it because it’s safe as we are their guest.

BIG MISTAKE !!!

Phi Phi tour turned out to be a decent but far away from what was promised and then Came the JAMES BOND ISLAND TOUR BY BIG BOAT.

Our Pick up was at 8 am and we reached the lobby area at 7.45 am.

No one came to pick us up till 8.30 and their was no help on the call also. she (May) walked in the hotel at around the same time, I informed her that our pick up has not arrived, she made some calls and casually told us that SHE FORGOT TO BOOK US ON THE TOUR.

She told us I will give you refund or you can go on a similar tour on a long tail boat. she already knew this that It was our last day in Phuket and not going on the tour that she is now recommending means missing the opportunity to see the attraction, you don't travel thousand KMs to take refunds right ?

I specifically asked her how our itinerary will get effected and she said its the same and in fact better than the original tour that I have booked.

The brochure price of the original tour that I have booked was 3500 Bhat and the one she was now sending us to had a brochure price of 1800 Bhat,

When I told her this she started shouting and become very rude again, started threatening us that she will cancel this other tour also and will not give any refund.

My wife become so scared with her behavior that she told me not to argue with her any further and just take the tour and leave.

Tour itself was horrible it took us 2 hours by pick up van to reach at the pier, and then the entire tour was rushed with only 20-30 mins stoppage at each attraction and then again 2 hours ride back to hotel.

She (May) not only spoiled our entire day but charged us 2100 bhat for a tour which was costing only 1400 bhat outside.

She cheated us of 700 Bhat, I came to know this after I inquired about prices with other tour operators in the evening who were offering the same tour for Total 1400 Bhat only, all included.

I wanted to take some action against her but my wife pleaded me not to do anything till we are out of this hotel, such an impact she had made on my wife.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. A HOTEL WHICH ALLOW SUCH A THING TO HAPPEN TO THEIR GUESTS CANNOT BE TRUSTED AND IS DEFINITELY NOT SAFE.

Message for May : You should be ashamed of your self. We came to your country as a guest and this is how you treated us just for the...

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Aspery Hotel during my vacation in Patong, Phuket. Overall, my experience was quite pleasant, and I found the hotel to be a good choice for my stay. Here's a detailed review of my time at Aspery Hotel:

Location: ★★★★☆ Aspery Hotel is located in a prime area of Patong, offering convenient access to the beach, shopping areas, and nightlife. It's just a short walk away from the vibrant Bangla Road, where you can experience the energetic atmosphere of Phuket's nightlife. The proximity to the beach is definitely a plus, allowing for easy exploration of Patong's beautiful coastline.

Accommodation: ★★★★☆ The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms with a modern design. My room was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge. The housekeeping staff did a commendable job of keeping the room tidy throughout my stay. However, some rooms might benefit from a bit of updating to enhance the overall experience.

Facilities: ★★★☆☆ Aspery Hotel has a decent range of facilities, including a small swimming pool and a fitness center. The pool area is clean and provides a relaxing spot to unwind, although it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. The fitness center, while adequately equipped, could use some more modern equipment to cater to the needs of fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, the hotel lacks a spa, which could be a disappointment for guests seeking extra relaxation.

Staff: ★★★★☆ The hotel staff was friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist with any queries or requests. They provided prompt service during check-in and check-out and were knowledgeable about the local area, offering helpful recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. Their hospitality contributed positively to my overall experience at Aspery Hotel.

Dining: ★★★☆☆ The hotel has a restaurant that offers a decent selection of dishes for breakfast. While the quality of the food was satisfactory, I found the breakfast options to be somewhat limited compared to other hotels in the area. Exploring the nearby restaurants and street food options may be a better choice for those seeking a wider range of culinary experiences.

Value for Money: ★★★★☆ Considering its prime location in Patong, Aspery Hotel offers good value for money. The room rates were reasonable, and the overall experience was satisfactory. However, guests should keep in mind that the hotel is not a luxury establishment, and some areas could benefit from improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

In conclusion, Aspery Hotel in Patong, Phuket, offers a pleasant stay with its prime location, comfortable accommodation, and friendly staff. While there are areas that could be improved, the hotel provides good value for money. I would recommend it to budget-conscious travelers seeking a convenient base for exploring the vibrant...
