Hunglish — Local services in Great Britain

What a wonderful surprise to drop in by accident since our child was hungry and then we realized this was a zero waste store!!!

We decided for ice cream and a hazelnut croissant which all was delicious, especially the orange-cinnamon-date ice cream! We also had a flat white and the breakfast smoothie. The only flaw to me was that the smoothie came in a plastic sort of cup with paper straws. I'd preferred to drink this out of a glass or porcelain cup with a glass or steel straw or no straw at all. Anyhow, it was a heartlifting relief to us to see a zero waste store in such a touristy hot spot, because in most of the other restaurants and stores in Brighton we came across, especially near the pier, saddening amounts of litter containers are sold so it's no wonder that so much trash ends up in the streets, at the beach and on the shore. We found this amazingly friendly place by accident whilst on holiday, the food is amazing and you get so so much( popped in for a snack) didn’t need a main meal😂 . Took away the cake that I didn’t have room for and enjoyed it later. It was such an amazingly positive experience that the day we came home we popped in again to get food for our journey home. The food is delicious and the portions are fantastic, the owner is so helpful and friendly and deserves to do so well. If you haven’t discovered it yet and you live or are visiting Brighton pop in and enjoy. Oh also the prices are fantastic value and did I say how tasty the food is. We are looking forward to our next visit to Brighton even more now thanks to this...

I still can’t believe how reasonably priced Hunglish is. It blew me away when I compared it to other stores online and in the area.

I was surprised as I expected prices to be more, but Hunglish has worked is magic in providing the best price possible.

It’s also such a lovely shop to shop in, so friendly, helpful and informative.

I love taking in my jars 🫙 and filling them up, it’s like harvesting a crop, there’s something meaningful in doing this which talks to and nurtures my soul.

There’s also no eco guilt due to their ethos of 0% waist, fair trade, vegan and organic. Now where else do you get this???
