Came in for a wash, cut and blow dry with Amo on 13/6/23, she is amazing and very attentive, she cuts my hair well and how I want. However, today my hair was washed by another staff member, she made me sit in a wet seat without thinking of drying or cleaning it before I sat down. She then opened the tap in full force and splashed water over my clothes, face, sunglasses a number of times. I felt she was a bit careless and only got an apology at the end when she saw I was getting uncomfortable and anxious. I was looking forward to this appointment as it was my only time out from my busy day, only to be left disappointed about the whole experience. If it wasn't for Amo giving me a great cut after the wash, I'd be giving a 1 star review.

UPDATE: I went back again on 26/8/23 as I was due a cut, I don't know why I thought about giving this salon a second chance - purely because I've been a client here for a few years and I thought I would give it the benefit of doubt. Unfortunately, my hair wasn't washed properly by the other stylist, the massage when conditioning was only for half a minute, I didn't feel relaxed at all. I asked for my hair to be styled in tight curls and within minutes leaving the salon it fell flat. I explained that it would need to be tighter curls as I have fine hair and I want it to naturally loosen up over the course of day. I already had a rough week and was expecting to feel better after this appointment as I had a special occasion to attend on the Saturday, instead I felt worse, deflated and my hair didn't look like it had been cut or styled at all, the service I felt wasn't quite there. I was also sat next to another client and my hair was being blowdried from the other clients too, with hot hair coming my way. Was super excited to have my hair done here after avidly following on Instagram where the reels show dramatic transformations. I booked way in advance as popular stylists are booked up months ahead. I went and booked in person so a patch test for colour could be done. I showed the girls what I'd like done and they booked me in. When I asked about a consultation, I was told it wasn't needed. The day arrived last Sunday and I travelled 45 minutes to the salon. The stylist looked at my hair and said they wouldn't be able to Bleach it as my hair was too damaged and that it'd need 6 months of care before it could be done. I was GUTTED! On the verge of tears as I'd looked forward to it for ages and it was going to be a special treat. Grace was kind and explained carefully. She was apologetic that a consultation hadn't been arranged and said it would be fed back. I was annoyed and disappointed after travelling so far and if I'd been told sooner we could have started the journey to get my hair stronger sooner. She apologised and I still opted for a cut toner and treatment which was OK. They gave me some samples as way of apology. Overall I can't help but feel super let down. At no point in the reels do they ever comment on the hair needing to be in a certain condition and I just left feeling very deflated. I'd love to have my hair looking the way they claim they can make it look just wish the process was handled better. I also did inform the stylist to straighten my hair first then style it as I know how much water it retains and that it otherwise becomes frizzy, sadly she didn't so my actual beachy wave/curl really didn't last long! I know they say trust the professionals but also listen to your clients too... a mixed...

Paula is someone that goes that extra mile for every one of her clients she is so attentive to every little detail and is simply a perfectionist! It makes me so happy to see her every time she bounces around the salon here there and everywhere keeping all her clients content and still managing to juggle so many things at once.✅

Paula is extremely skillful and has a bubbly cheerful presence that is unmatched,she definitely puts a smile on so many people’s faces on a regular basis!
