Horrible location! I am actually filing a formal complaint with the post master about the old man at this location. I called the post office on August 29th to confirm my parcel had been delivered on August 22nd, I was advised by a young lady that the parcel was there. I advised her that I was also expecting a second parcel from Amazon to be delivered later that day. She advised that I should wait until the morning of the 30th to collect both parcels, just in case the delivery on the 29th was late. On the morning of the 30th, I went to collect the parcel delivered on the 22nd and the 29th. The old man claimed that I did not have a parcel delivered on the 22nd. I called Amazon, and as the rep explained to me that the parcel was in fact delivered, and that a code was not generated only a tracking number. I approached the counter and at this time, the young lady I spoke with on the 29th was there, and she told the man that my parcel was in the back, she retrieved my parcel and placed it on the counter. The old man continued to yell that my parcel could not be released without a code, despite the Amazon worker saying that a code was not issued, despite me having my ID etc.. As my parcel was on the counter, I retrieved my parcel, and walked away. The old man was yelling that he was going to call the police, and I advised him to do so. I visited to send an international parcel using first-class stamps, which I have successfully done at this same branch before. However, the lady working at the counter informed me that my stamps couldnāt be used.
When I explained that I had previously used the same method with no issues, she outright dismissed me instead of checking with her colleagues. To make matters worse, her pace was agonizingly slowāso slow that I couldnāt wait any longer as she wasted over 30 minutes on what should have been a straightforward task.
It was evident she lacked knowledge and initiative. If she wasnāt sure of the process, the least she could have done was ask someone else. Her behavior was unprofessional, and her inefficiency is unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role.
This experience left me frustrated and unable to complete my transaction. I strongly urge you to either provide better training to your staff or replace employees who cannot meet basic standards of service. Such incompetence reflects poorly on your organization and wastes customers' valuable time.
