I visited yesterday evening to have a meal. After attending the regular COVID checks (the pub works on a first come first served basis), we were instructed by staff to go to the beer garden (open space) and wait at the table. We asked staff to move table, as ours was 1) in an inconvenient location 2) too small to have a meal and drinks 3) one of the two chairs was unstable and we were not close to any heaters 4) there was an empty larger booth right next to ours. We pointed this out to staff who said that they would have sanitised the larger booth first and then allowed us to move in. We also said that we would have been happy to wait for the table to be sanitised. While we were patiently waiting, a group (three men) entered the open space and took the booth without waiting for staff to sanitise it. When staff came and saw this did not ask the group to leave the table - the table needed to be sanitised (as it should have been done!). They just seated and had drinks. We pointed this out to staff, but we got completely ignored.

I had a word with another member of staff at the bar, who ignored us as well. It was an awful experience. Extremely disappointed for the lack of consideration and time from staff.
