I went there to quickly pick up hand sanitiser before travelling long distance. I literally only had 5 mins b4 my train left so rushed in and asked the supervisor (the one that walks the floor) where they. She could see I was in a rush and getting stressed but made no effort to show me where the sanitiser was. Furthermore, she deliberately went to the front of the queue just as I was to be served to buy things 4 herself. Obviously, this added to my stress and everyone in the queue was getting frustrated. Finally, another cashier became available (the supervisor was still chatting and giggling with her cashier mate) i told her I was in a hurry and, instead of helping, she deliberately took her time, slowly opening the till, slowly taking money and slowly giving change - it was like slow motion. They work in a railway station for heavens sake they need to recognise people maybe in a rush! I appreciate and respect that they were doing their jobs, but I ended up buying less than I would have because I wanted to get out of the uncomfortable situation. I won’t go back...
Read moreAbsolutely baffling. For a store located inside a major train station like Brighton, you'd expect Superdrug to understand the needs of commuters and people off to Gatwick Airport, who start their journeys as early as 5 AM. What's the point of being at a station if you can't serve the early morning rush or late journeys where other retailers simply don't exist. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a fundamental misunderstanding of your customer base and missed opportunities. You should do a...
