Too busy tbh but the staff are friendly and there is a lot here to shop from. Open a little later than most surrounding stores on Regents Street, but doesn't really empty out that much unless you wait until 8:45 and they've stopped letting people in! Always worth remembering- what is in the sale online isn't always in the sale in store. It's annoying and can mean you have more to pay because online hasn't got your size or something, and staff wont haggle, but this is my main gripe and really not the fault of the staff. Items are not badly made, (seams match, patters look good, things don't become misshapen in the wash). Not YSL quality no, but far far from Primark and Topshop quality. Especially nice shoes- just because they see, to design things which can't be found elsewhere. Obviously the high street is fairly homogeneous, but for that one finishing touch you are struggling to find, I'd suggest taking a look to see if they have anything that could work for you, they've suprized me in the past when Office, Schuh. John Lewis and Topshop...
Read moreLack of customer service. Just been in the store, trying a dress, came out of the changing room in the dress, midi length, asking if they have the same dress in different colour, the young lady, who as if works there, said yes in blue, I asked, where is it, she pointed out ‘there’ and we were both looking at short blue dresses, I walked over there and asked her, this short one, she said yes. I pointed to the length of the dress I had on and said but this one is short, then she again pointed out with her finger, oh no its over there. Then I walked over there, leaving all my belongings in dressing room, and it was a dress in completely different style... I informed her that it’s completely different style, and her response was ‘aohh’ The fact that she appeared to be bored rather then busy and that all of this has happened within 3-4 sq/m, made me questioned if she has even heard of customer service ??? Nice shop, shame hardly any customer service...
Read moreToday I went into & other Stories store in Oxford Street at 1:40pm. I went in and a beautiful dress in the window display caught my eye, I asked the manager if I could have a size 42 but another one because the one on the window display was creased and had a button missing, she then told me that there weren't any more dresses in my size and at all, baring in mind they were the new collection, she didn't bother to look instead she was too busy rushing to go the window outside with another colleague to change the display or fix it. I was going to buy that dress, I was disappointed with the customer service, eventhough we are in this situation and they have lost a customer. The dress was £85. I also asked them where the other store was and she didn't bother to tell me. Feedback from today is that this store and their team have to be educated on customer service they all have to learn how to make a customer happy and not lose one, like they...
