I booked tickets for a party boat for my husband’s birthday. After careful research and a thorough read of their reviews, I decided to opt for Absolute Party Cruises. We arrived with eager anticipation and high expectations of the evening ahead. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Well, actually, quite a lot! The food was abysmal considering the price of the ticket and many people, including us, expressed disappointment. Still, we were certain that the disco would alleviate this disappointment, as our ticket described the music as: “A DJ playing party anthems from the past to the present.” The reality was quite different. There were no big party anthems. Just hours of insufferable long mixes of hip hop and rap that were utterly monotonous. There wasn’t a single moment of everyone leaping up from their seats to dance to that all- time disco anthem. The only people dancing were the ones too inebriated to know what they were dancing to, or the people who were there to be filmed for a promotional video. The latter, incidentally, will provide members of the public thinking of going on this party boat with a somewhat false pretence; the reality was acutely sobering! After 90 minutes of mundane sounds, my husband requested a change. We waited... and waited... and asked again. Nothing! We then complained to the promoter who made up a fantastical excuse why the music could not move to the description given on the tickets. For the last hour we sat downstairs with many other disappointed people, desperate to get off the boat. We wanted and expected this to be a fun-filled night of dancing to disco classics. It wasn’t much to ask for, but our request was 100% ignored. A complete anti-climax experience for us, and many other people...

Very professional and friendly team. The boat is lovely and quite large with upstairs & downstairs. Lovely leather seating in one part of the top deck and they have leather sofa's if you wish to keep these in. I used the top deck only for a party. Very flexible with bringing my own DJ as long as equipment is PAT tested. The team let me view the boat in person which was very helpful and noted each of the requirements. Lesley contacts you very fast with any queries you have. The bar is well stocked and you can check if a specific drink can be brought in for your event. Very clean and the toilets were clean. We had a great experience. Designate someone to be responsible for any decorations you would like to keep and take with you at the end of the event as they have many events and need the space fully cleared for the next day which can be difficult if you've had a few to drink! We booked the cruise "Royalty" for our New Years Eve and after all it's totally overpriced. We payed over 500£ for two people and the food was a terrible experience. Not only have they fitted 6 people on every table with 4 seats, but they served terrible asian food. I am very uncomplicated when it comes to food but not being able to serve eatable asian food and than even charge over 250£ each person blows my mind every time I think back to this experience. The outdoor deck of the cruise with the view to the fireworks was limited to maybe 10 people and I would guess we were around 150 people on this cruise. Drinks and alcohol was included, as well as the ticket for the entrance to the inner city. That's why a two and not a one star. I would have rated it a fair 4-5 starts if we would have paid 50£ each with a welcome drink. Think about it... you make at least 40k revenue on this boat and are not able so serve...
