EDIT-- I eventually got an apology email from two main people of the company with a promise to get my duck sent immediatly along with a couple of extra bits. I had originally but the policeman duck for my son in law and his promotion into the met police but it was too late for that. However, about 10 days later I did receive my duck along with a pair of kiddies duck earrings, a s.all unicornsduck and the most tiniest glass duck I have ever seen. I almost chucked it with the rubbish as hadn't seen it. So I will up my star rating for the apology letters but I still wouldn't order again. Having said that my son in law thought the duck was great! Terrible customer service. I placed an order on 25th June and still haven't received my duck. I've written in 4 times but never get an acknowledgement or reply. Their only chat keeps saying someone will be in touch- but the don't. Edit...... Finally someone got back to me and has promised to get my order resent....

Sadly, the ducks are designed on chatgpt (as the owner told me) and then sent out to their Chinese factory for manufacture and thats about it as far as product development goes.
Nobody bothers to think about if it will float.
Meaning, you end up with very cool landfill. Form over Function.
So, how could this work better? Do your funky design on chatgpt or whatever, send it to China and then ask them to fill the mould 90% of the way, then weigh the rubber and put that much in the bottom - effectively counter balancing whatever design you make and making something that has both Function and Form.
More than that, you could fill a bowl with water and try floating the duck in it before selling it.
Or, just be honest if these aren't actually meant to float.

Read moreI went in aiming of buying a duck for my nephew, as me and my partner went to walk in, we got a negative response.
The few staff members that was inside the store seemed to all stop what they were doing, we didn't realise that one member was outside filming a tik tok or a reel for Instagram. We offered to wait until they had finished and he said no you can go in, I then turned around and noticed he pulled his face at me and my partner for walking into the shop. We then had to go to the back of the store out of their way so they could continue filming their social media videos. We were made to feel like we got in the way, I felt like we wasn't wanted in the store as they continued to record, safe to say I won't return or buy from these, as custom isn't valued.
