One of the most insulting experiences with security I’ve had in my life. I wish we could talk about the food in this review, but we didn’t even get in before one of the security guards stopped us and said my wife looks too drunk. I thought it was a bad joke and was waiting for the punchline, but it never came. He kept on claiming that my wife looked like she had “5 to 10” drinks because my wife’s eyes were red. She has contacts and it was a particularly windy day. We were talking to him and were clearly coherent and not stumbling, as she only had a single drink at dinner before. However, he wouldn’t budge (or think critically).

Absolutely shocked at how insulting he was and how unwilling he was to use common sense. I understand there are drunk people who come in, but this heavy handedness from security has likely left a bad taste for more customers than us. I didn’t get his name, but believe he had short hair and a Ukrainian accent. However, it’s very clear that he’s not a good representative of the market to customers and should not be...

Review for Seven Dials Market, London Seven Dials Market is a vibrant and trendy food hub in the heart of London — a paradise for food lovers who enjoy exploring a wide variety of cuisines under one roof. The atmosphere is lively, the presentation of food stalls is eye-catching, and it’s definitely a must-visit spot for group hangouts and casual dining.

However, while there’s an impressive range of global flavors, the vegan and vegetarian options are quite limited, which could be improved to make it more inclusive for all visitors. Also, a bit more attention to hygiene and cleanliness around some food counters would make the overall experience even better.

Still, it’s a delightful place to soak in London’s food culture — colorful, creative, and full of energy!

In the eighteenth century the Seven Dials monument was a meeting place for thieves and pickpockets, so to reduce crime, it was moved twenty miles away to the once peaceful little village of Weybridge. Londoners missed their monument so a meeting was arranged to request its return. The mayor of Weybridge was late for that meeting as he’d mislaid his diary, and his pocket watch, and his horse. When he eventually arrived, he explained that the monument couldn’t be returned as it was popular in Weybridge and was even drawing lots of new visitors to the area. He also asked if anyone had seen his wallet or the railings from around his house. The monument with sundial that’s here today is a reproduction but it works just as well as the original. I used it to tell the time when I was last in the area (as I’d somehow lost my phone).

Near Covent Garden you can find the Seven Dial Column, which sits in the middle of a seven street road junction. This is a nice historical monument located in a great area of London to visit. The Seven Dials Column, which interestingly has only six face dials, is a replica of the original 17th century monument and was only installed in 1989. The original had been removed in 1773, according to the Seven Dials Trust to rid the area of the undesirables which congregated in what had become a run down area of the city. Today is a different story and the seven dials area is vibrant with restaurants, shops, West End theatre houses and other forms of entertainment. It is a fun area to spend time when visiting London and the monument only requires a few minutes to see.
