Nespresso pop up — Local services in London

Went to this pop-up and I hate to say it, but I have to say I have never, ever had as great of an experience as I had today. The gentleman asked for the account number or postcode, where I said it was my partner’s. He then said what is her… or their name, to which I said his name where I’m authorised to use the account too. I smiled at the “ her,” because I’m aware that I don’t seemingly look the part; he picked up on that and apologised and said it was so ironic coming from him, but the way he spun it around to, him just knowing I’m a fierce diva. I had tears in my eyes from laughing at the jokes that followed suit; he was so witty and quick with his humour, yet so professional with his work, I will most certainly be coming back, but Nespresso needs to make this a permanent boutique, it’s too convenient. Idk who hired this new French guy but he is extremely rude and not helpful. Came over to his desk to make a purchase and said hello - he didn’t even acknowledge my presence while he was whatsapping. It was only after I said to my partner „maybe he doesn’t work here” that he finally looked up and spoke to us. This is the second interaction. The first one with him was equally unpleasant. We were returning recycled Nespresso capsules and he told us that the store wasn’t open even though the recycling bin was next to him and he didn’t need to do anything.. we are locals in the area and this has tarnished our experience and desire to buy...

Really quick service this past Sunday, which was fantastic. I had lots of questions answered, with an amazing recommendation for a Brazilian mild pod. I was also given some guidance on how to use the Bluetooth feature on the nespresso app. A bit more of a personalised experience would have been nice, with some more engagement and chat aside from the POS, but it was a Sunday in the late evening so this is very understandable to be a quick conversation and fast service. I’m looking forward to coming back soon to hear some more recommendations!...
