Venchi at Battersea Power Station – A Chocolate Lover’s Heaven! 🍫✨

A visit to Venchi at Battersea Power Station is more than just a stop for sweets—it’s a full-blown experience of indulgence and Italian craftsmanship. From the moment you step into the shop, you're wrapped in the warm, rich aroma of chocolate and welcomed into a world that feels luxurious yet inviting. It’s impossible not to be enchanted by the beautiful displays of chocolate, gelato, and confectionery, all artfully arranged and screaming quality. This is not just a shop but a decadent oasis for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life!

The chocolate offerings are second to none. Venchi boasts an exquisite collection of treats, from their signature hazelnut-covered chocolates to their silky smooth pralines, which quite literally melt in your mouth. Their chocolates not only taste divine but also highlight traditional Italian techniques that elevate them above ordinary confectionery. I especially loved the chocomousse bar—a creamy, rich experience I’ll definitely come back for. And if you’re a dark chocolate fan, their 75% dark bar is a standout, with deep notes of cocoa balanced perfectly by its velvety texture.

Of course, the gelato is the star at Venchi, and it doesn’t disappoint. Whether you're after classic flavors like Stracciatella or more adventurous ones like the creamy pistachio or hazelnut supreme, each scoop is as authentic and delicious as you’d expect from an Italian master chocolatier. The gelato is perfectly balanced—rich and flavorful without being overly sweet, and you can tell they use real ingredients with no compromises on quality. Paired with a fresh waffle cone generously coated in Venchi chocolate and sprinkled with nuts? Perfection!

Their drinks also deserve special mention! The hot chocolate is to die for—thick, silky, and indulgent, it’s like drinking molten perfection. Whether enjoyed plain or topped with freshly whipped cream, it’s easily one of the best hot chocolates I've ever had. Pair it with a selection of chocolates, and you've got yourself the ultimate pick-me-up.

The service at Venchi Battersea Power Station also deserves applause. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. They’re more than happy to walk you through the chocolate selection or offer hints on what gelato flavors to try. It’s refreshing to meet people who clearly love their brand as much as they enjoy serving guests! They add to the experience with their warm and welcoming attitude.

The location at Battersea Power Station is the perfect match for Venchi’s luxurious vibe. The recently revitalized Battersea area offers a buzzing atmosphere that feels trendy and vibrant, and Venchi slots right into this energy, offering a moment of indulgence amidst the buzz. The interior of the shop continues this theme, with elegant displays and a clean, modern aesthetic that gives the feeling you’re stepping into something truly special.

If there’s one thing to look out for, it’s that it’s very easy to lose track of time (and money) in here—the gelato, chocolates, and beautifully packaged gifts are just too tempting! That said, the quality and experience make every penny well spent. Venchi isn’t just a sweet shop; it’s a celebration of Italian food culture, premium ingredients, and loving attention to detail.

Final verdict? Venchi at Battersea Power Station is an absolute must-visit. Whether you’re treating yourself, looking for a gift, or wanting a touch of everyday luxury, you’ll find it here. From their world-class chocolate to their gelato and exceptional customer service, Venchi delivers an experience to remember. I left feeling like I had just traveled to Italy without leaving London, and I can’t wait to go back! Five stars and...

Venchi started its 145 year old journey (circa 1878) from Torino (Turin), Italy as a wonderful gourmet Italian chocolate manufacturer. What surprises me the most is that they haven’t started making ice creams until 2006! Being a Piedmontese ice cream/chocolate parlour, this makes Venchi stand out in its qualitative excellence based on the smooth contrast between its Italian roots and an innovative vision in terms of variety of offer and shopping experience.

So once I stepped into the Battersea Shopping Centre Venchi Store I had enormous lovey dovey eyes like this emoji ‘😍’. The first reaction was so jaw dropping that I could not believe they opened one this far in Battersea. Although I don’t live there it’s nice to see this business is expanding on the other side of London.

Anyways I’ll cut to the chase, I went for the infamous Nougatine (small candies made of crushed and caramelized hazelnuts coated in dark chocolate) flavour and the Brutto & Buono (Creamy Hazelnut flavour). Mouth-wateringly delicious, scrumptious and can’t describe with any other words how delicate it was. Absolute perfection. The gelatos are served in Small, Regular and Large cones in all the Venchi store. Prices are starting around £5-£7 per cone or cup whichever you choose.

Cons: The pick and mix chocolate selection can be a bit pricey compared to Lindt and other gourmet chocolate stores. One thing for sure the chocolate ranges are so damn good you’ll be left in a dilemma. However some can go upwards £5-8 per chocolate bar. Be sure to spend over £50-£80 if you want a large assortments of chocolates to take home for...

Five-Star Sweetness at Venchi, Battersea Power Station! ✨ Walking into Venchi at Battersea Power Station is like stepping into a chocolate and gelato dream! The atmosphere is pure Italian indulgence, with a vibrant display of chocolates, decadent fountains, and the enticing aroma of freshly made gelato. But the real star of the show is the ice cream itself, and let me tell you, it's next-level amazing!

I had the pleasure of being served by Ibrahim, and his friendly spirit and genuine kindness added another layer of deliciousness to the experience. He treated me with utmost respect, patiently explaining the flavors and offering recommendations with a smile that could light up the whole Turbine Hall. His passion for Venchi's creations was truly infectious!

The gelato I chose was absolutely heavenly! I can't even pick a favorite, as each spoonful was a burst of fresh, authentic Italian flavor. Whether you're a dark chocolate fanatic, a hazelnut devotee, or a fruity fanatic, you're guaranteed to find your perfect scoop at Venchi.

Beyond the gelato, the whole experience was top-notch. The staff were all welcoming and knowledgeable, the decor was stunning, and the location - well, what's not to love about Battersea Power Station?

If you're looking for a sweet escape, a joyful moment of pure indulgence, or just a friendly chat with someone who truly loves gelato, then Venchi Battersea Power Station is the place to be. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Ibrahim, consider your day already...
