Lucky Chopsticks — Restaurant in Anacortes

I decided not to call in my complaint as the lady had a strong accent and I imagined how that would go. Instead, I'm counting my loss and actually writing a review. PROS: -Food was delivered quickly -Crab won-tons & sweet/sour pork were good CONS: The egg drop soup was SO horrible -no joke- it tasted like dirty dish water The almond fried chicken was soggy and seemed like it wasn't cooked nearly long enough My total order came to $17.58 after tax, which I was fine with. Then handy dandy text alerts showed me my card was actually charged $21.10. The slip the delivery guy had me sign had the $17.58 price, which even though I saw my card was charged incorrectly, I still tipped him. He was professional and friendly, he's actually the brother of an old friend of mine. Anyway, I had even confirmed the free shipping with the lady on the phone and it didn't seem like the delivery was free, just saying... I rated my overall experience a "2" because the service was so poor and half the food I couldn't even eat. Go to Kong Kong Garden in Anacortes if you're looking for good food. So there’s two main dishes that we like to order and that is curry chicken and fried rice, chicken or shrimp fried rice. We have tried three places in Anacortes and they were all basically 2 to 2 1/2 stars out of five just decent and that is all, so we tried Lucky chopsticks after seeing some reviews and it having higher ratings than some others. Our order was a pick up order and it was the two dishes mentioned. Very friendly person Took the payment and he was very kind. Then First of all You get a very adequate portion second just looking at the food you could tell it was going to be better than the other three we have tried locally. It was not only better. It was exceptionally good in every way shape and form. Very quality ingredients very flavorful and perfectly executed. This is my new go to place. There are two Thai places that we still want to try, but I doubt they will beat this food. EDIT- one Thai place left to try and the other one fell short of Lucky chopsticks so this may be the best place in Anacortes for this type of food!!. Pricing was good and fair. I have been coming here for years. Like at least 8. Ping, who is one of the servers is a sweetheart. I get the general tso chicken every time. My mom loves the pork egg foo young. It's a relaxed atmosphere. Of course you get offered tea, the egg noodle soup is really good. They have a few different imported beers in bottles. Some from the "100 beers you must try" list. I personally like the Lucky Buddha beer. The bottle is shaped like Buddha, and it's a Chinese lager. I can only talk about the sweet and sour chicken and especially the general tso chicken. That is all I get because it is so good. They use white meat chicken and bread & fry it. You choose the spice level, 1-5, and the meal is just white rice, chicken and sauce, no vegetables.
