Horrible customer service. I visited this store due to a sale that i saw on their website. The item i was interested in was showing as in stock at the store so i drove 45min to the store. I passed several associates without being acknowledged. After looking for the product i was online for over 10min an associate walked by without speaking. I asked them where the product was located. I was told that this product sold out several days ago. I pulled up the website and showed the associate that it was showing available. They responded with "our website does that with most products. We don't have it". They then told me to let them know if i needed help finding anything and walked away. I decided to leave the store. As i was leaving another associate asked me if i found what i was looking for. When i responded with no they didn't respond so i left. I will bot visit this store again.
Update: I ordered the product online that same evening to be shipped to my home. Today over a week later i received an email stating that they we cancelling my order due to overwhelming sales of the product. I wasn't offered an upgrade or given an opportunity to wait for it to come in. Just straight cancelled my order. To be fair i reached out to their customer service line. I explained the situation and after a 20min conversation i was denied a comparable item for the same price not would they allow the same discount percentage to be applied to a product thay retailed for $20 more. Read moreI went to Dick’s Store in Anderson,Sc. On January 4th to do a simple return on a life pro vibration plate. Well at least that I thought it would be but instead it was a nightmare. The store mgr. John did not take care of me. He said my return was too dirty and he couldn’t resale it. He said I need to clean it before he would honor me a return. I drove 30 minutes to this store. The store mgr brought me out some cleaning supplies. Which I don’t know what was in the bottle nor did it have the name of the solution on the bottle. He also had Lysol wipes and paper towels. In order for me to clean the plate . There was no disposal gloves or safety glasses for me to use. When I mentioned those things. The store Mgr got mad and packed up my return. He sent me and my return to my car. Saying I am a liability and he doesn’t want me to get hurt. I have worked in retail before as a manager. I took care of my customers. I would have honored the return and then explained to them that going forward we are not allowed to do a return if it’s not clean to be resold. Especially when you don’t know there return policy. Store Mgr John could have handled this situation differently. It wasn’t like I was returning $1000 merchandise. It was under $200. Read moreI went into Dick’s today and was buying a pair of shoes. The tag said 40% the shoes. I went to go purchase them and they did not honor the 40% off. when I brought up that they didn’t take the money off. The employee in the back said he would honor it. They then called the manager up who was blonde I did not catch her name. She was supposed to handle it and honor the discount. She then was very rude to me and my friend who is an employee of the store when we were just purchasing what was on the sign. She told him to go to his store that he work at and get the 40% off and that he should know that the shoes were not on discount. He doesn’t work in the shoe department or the Anderson Store.
