Express — Local services in Arlington

Express' customer service has drastically declined. I recently had to visit the store for an online order returns. However, they refused to accept my return citing it was a clearance item, instructing me to contact customer service instead. When I did, I was informed that items ending in .99 are indeed returnable.

Yet, the store still refused the return, insisted that I ship it back.

Then I attempting to purchase a clearance item advertised with an extra 60% off, the tagged price was $39.95, it should be $16. However, I was charged $20 before taxes. Rather than engaging in a futile argument over a few dollars, I opted not to contest the issue with the individual lacked of logic.

Went to do a return and the employee at the register was rude. She was a black female in her 20s or lower 30s. Threw away my old receipt and had to ask for it back- I still had other items I didn’t return on it. She didn’t say a word to me after I told her I was returning and that she threw away the receipt when I asked her for it. I told her she could be nicer and she looked at me straight in the face and extremely sarcastically said “have a great day”. I then asked if she was a manager and she said yes so then I asked for someone higher than her. This EXPRESS store is absolutely gorgeous and might be my favorite one in Texas. It's super modern and the men's section is sprawling with great selection. Very well-organized, and when I arrived a few minutes before closing on a weekday, the team was very happy to help me. Good, relaxing, warmly-lit environment to shop in and the clearance section is well-stocked (while walking by on my way to the return counter, saw a bomber jacket for supppper cheap and picked...
