I stumbled into this boutique as I headed back to my hotel to pack up and fly out of Asheville; technically, this was the last place I went to before going home, and wow… am I glad that I did. I walked in and was warmly greeted by Andy, who informed me that it was a woman-owned business and all products in the shop were from local artists, crafters, businesses, etc. One thing I really wanted to do in my 12-ish hours of being in Asheville (in and out for work) was give my money to support local businesses/people that were adapting and rebuilding their lives, careers, businesses, and buildings/homes following the most recent hurricane and flooding… and here was the perfect opportunity. Andy was extremely kind, knowledgeable about every item and its source, and made great conversation with me and other shoppers. I could’ve shopped and talked for another hour or so but unfortunately I had to head out to make my flight. If you are in Asheville, you NEED to stop in and support this boutique and the artists/crafters/business owners involved!
I purchased some beautiful unique rings, a detailed painted wood magnet, a lovely little woodwork Asheville ornament (I believe made by the owner’s daughter?), a gorgeous framed mini watercolor painting of the Appalachian landscape, and an artsy outdoorsy baseball cap. Read moreThis place is AMAZING. Helen and Mia at the Biltmore Avenue location went out of their way to accommodate my special request this past weekend. I needed to get a gift to the organizer of a conference that was being held at an Asheville hotel. I could not make it to their boutique in time before they closed that evening because I was driving in from Hickory after work. Helen coordinated the sale over the phone and filled out a special notecard with exactly what I wanted it to say and then Mia hand delivered the package and the card to the front desk of the hotel before the person checked in, then actually called me to let me know exactly when she did it so I knew. You just don't receive this kind of exemplary customer service anymore. Not only will I be back to shop in person for myself and others for gifts in the future, but I will tell as many people about their boutique that will listen. Please support this local business whenever you are in Asheville or if you can't make the trip there, shop online for your gifts. You...
Read moreI cannot brag enough about the Charmed Boutique! I always make it a point to visit one of their locations on each of my visits to Asheville. I am always welcomed by the helpful staff and walk away with new earring treasures & Knick-knacks. I have also ordered earrings online and still use the box they mailed my order in because the packaging is so safe for traveling. The staff there also recommended Lust & Lore Tattoo where I got my first bit of ink. Highly recommend you stopping by either location- you will not be...
